No matter how much they took my engine apart and put it back together within the span of eight hours, it still would not run. I had to call my dad and tell him his truck was not running for me anymore. He said to go to the dealership tomorrow after class and get a new vehicle.

His words were, get a car or suv. I did not want one of those. Not until I start having kids. Even then I want a truck. So it's the next day, my dad had to drive from Frisco area to Vernon to be a cosignant. I already picked out the vehicle I wanted and had already taken it for a test drive when he showed up. "Which one did you pick?" He asked.

"A truck. In case I decide to rodeo during the summer or one of the guys can't drive theirs." I told him. He shrugged. "How much of a down payment?" He asked. "Twenty five grand." I told him. He shook his head. "It's going to be about nine hundred a month and I'm making at least one grand each paycheck depending on my hours. I have been putting money back for a new vehicle for a while dad." I told him.

"Ok. It's whatever you want." He said. I went to sign the paper when my dad said he was going to match the price and have me pay him back for his twenty five. That left me paying at least half of what I was supposed to be paying. I could easily pay it off quickly if I wanted to.

What my house mates didn't expect was the brand new truck. I did take Winston's advice for the new vehicle. I pulled into my spot and got out. They all were shocked at the vehicle I picked. "Now if any of y'all's trucks break down, I'll haul us there." I told them as I walked to the front door.

"Now we know Bailie's rig won't make it." Josh said. I shrugged. I had asked for today off to get a new vehicle. They were forgiving and knew I needed a reliable mode of transportation. I got a shower, threw some random clothes on and went back downstairs. The boys were playing some drinking game.

Bailie went over and asked what game they were playing. Davis immediately said it by calling out "Bullsh*t." Both Winston and Keeter had to drink. I went into the kitchen heating up some leftovers and going back to my room to study.

I finally went to bed at about eleven at night getting up at seven to go to work at the clinic. It's not bad. I can wear any kind of scrubs. My favorite are the ones that hug my curves and drive my housemates crazy.

I'm that one. If I want to be frisky or playful I can. But when it's business time, no freaking way. All day long it was full of filling out charts and diagnosis, checking vital signs and filling out paperwork. There were two kids that came in for vaccinations and they had me do it.

I let the kids pick out their bandages and said I had a sucker and stickers for when they are done. I told them big poke and then it won't hurt after. After putting their bandages on, I took them to pick out a sucker and two stickers.

Two smiling red teary eyed faces and a thank you from the moms was satisfaction to my day. When I got home, someone had decided that we needed to eat Chinese food tonight. I went and got a shower before we all went out to eat.

Every time one of the guys pays for the meal. Bailie doesn't care. I would rather pay for my own. Of course they don't care. We take it back to the house, sit down and chat it up. I ate until I couldn't eat anymore. I usually get enough for lunch the next day. Wednesday is also the big day around here when it's rodeo season.

We have to pack and make sure everything is together for Thursday morning to get there Thursday night. That's how it works here.
