As soon as we got home from our rodeo, we already had a party going. I changed my shirt quickly and threw on a cap backwards. I locked my bedroom door along with the bathroom door and went back downstairs. That's the only time I will drink. When I'm not driving.

I grabbed a lone star out of the fridge and was about to turn to go to the living room when I was cornered. "Hey sweet thang. You wanna be sweet for me tonight?" He asked. "Nope." I told him as I pushed past him. Mac called me over and got me to play jello shot roulette with them.

"No everclear right?" I asked. "Not this time." He said. "Ladies first." Someone shouted. I pulled the first block. No shot. I gave a light smile before the next girl went. When it was back to me I pulled another block not getting to take a shot.

I watched the game. Some more tipsy than others. A girl finally grabbed the trash can and threw up. If you throw up during the game you get disqualified. That left me being the only girl left playing. I almost won too. Did I mention that every time someone takes a shot it's replaced by a new one? Yeah we play rough.

When the tower finally toppled, the one that knocked it over had to take all of the shots that were left. I went on to a different part of the house. Two guys playing beer pong. As I was about to get closer two arms wrapped around my midsection.

"Remember me?" I could smell the cologne before even thinking. "I do." I told him. "Every chance you got, you would try and hook up with me." He chuckled at my statement. "Maybe this year will be different." He said. "I doubt it." I told him. "We'll see baby." He said before unwrapping his arms and walking away.

I made a full lap around the house before settling and watching a game of ring of fire. I could tell someone was about to lose. An arm went around my waist. "Wanna play?" That cologne came to my senses again. "Not with you." I told him. "If I told you my name maybe!" He asked. "Still a hard no." I told him.

He chuckled. "I love the ones that play hard to get." He said in my ear. "And I would love to see ya passed out." I told him. "Really hard to do baby. I have a high tolerance to any kind of alcohol." He said. "Then prove it." I told him. "Then play a game of ring of fire with me." He said.

"Are you challenging me?" I asked him. "Maybe I am. And maybe I'm not." He said. "How bout at Halloween?" I asked. "How do you know what team I rodeo for?" He asked. "Lucky guess." I told him. "You are just full of surprises aren't ya?" He asked. "You have no idea cowboy." I said before breaking out of his hold.

I walked around the party one more time before grabbing a drink and going up to my room. I unlocked my door and locked it back. I set the cup down on my dresser and went to find some different clothes. I swirled my drink seeing something in the bottom. I trashed it immediately and curled up under my covers.

I had enough of a buzz to put me to sleep. When morning hit, I didn't have a headache or hangover. I did take my trash out and started cleaning the house. One by one we woke up, took something for the hangover if we had one and started cleaning the house while one cooked breakfast.

I finished my part and ate quickly. It's Sunday morning. I went back to my room and studied for tomorrow. A knock sounded on my door about dinner time. I looked up from my textbook. Winston was at my door. "Want something quick for dinner?" He asked. "Why not?" I asked. "Anything in particular?" He asked. "Nope." I answered.

"Fine. I'll get your favorite meal from wherever we decide." He said as he left my room.
