"Do you know any places Mr. Gallagher would go if he was stressed?" the police officer asks me.

"No, the only place we thought of was his work. We got in contact with them and at first they said that he was working a lot. Turns out that that was one of his work buddies he was close  with that had lied and apparently he hadn't been working there anymore and that the work buddy lied because our mom didn't know either," I said looking over at Mickey who was looking at me. I looked back.

"Did you ever think or know if you father had an affair?" the police officer said.

"He was distant with our mother and didn't really want to see her when she got sick. So I don't think so," I said.

A heard a big bang and looked our at the door and there was Noel and Mandy.

"I told you not to bring him here for questioning Mickey, I said I would do it for him!" Noel says walking over to Mickey.

"Sorry, I tried to stop him," Mandy mouthed to Mickey.

"Calm down Noel. It's only a couple of questions," Mickey said standing up.

"A couple of questions?! He'd lie about every single one Mickey! He's only 15! He lies about everything! Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if he was lying about being straight!" Noel yelled.

Mickey looked at me.

"STOP LOOKING AT HIM MICKEY! YOU LISTEN TO ME, YOU TAKE HIM HOME, OUR HOME! NOT YOURS! WHERE HE BELONGS! NOT WITH YOU!" Noel says pointing his finger at Mickey.

"GET IN THE CAR IAN! NOW!" Noel said to me. I've never seen him more angry.

I was going to get up but Mickey gave me a certain look and I sat down.

"GET IN THE CAR IAN!" Noel said louder.

"No," I said quietly.

"EXCUSE ME?!" Noel said making his way over to where I was sitting but Mickey stepped in front of him.

"He's not going home. He's going to ask a few questions. He has a voice," Mickey said. I was still so confused on what was going on.

"SO NOW YOUR BOYFRIEND IS GOING TO STAND UP FOR YOU BECAUSE YOU CAN'T FOR YOURSELF, PATHETIC!?" Noel said laughing and yelling.

"YOU ARE COMING HOME NOW!" he yelled. The police officers stood by not wanting to get involved.

"Mr. Gallagher, you are one of the close members of your father's and mother's family so you have full right to come in for private questioning," the police officer said tapping me on the shoulder.

"NO! HE CANNOT! HE'LL LIE TO YOU!" Noel yelled.

"How can you confirm that?" the officer said turning to him.

"Because I just know. He'll lie. He killed my mother. It was his shift and he wasn't watching her," Noel said.

"Shifts?" the officers was confused.

"We all took turns taking care of our mother and it was his turn and he wasn't watching her," Noel said.

"Listen, I'm Mandy. I am Ian's best friend and Noel's girlfriend now. At the time, I was going upstairs because I was looking for Ian. Ian was in his mother's room and shaking her. He was scared. He was looking helpless. I helped her and we called 911 that sent her to the hospital. Ian went to the hospital and spent night after night after night in there to support her and wouldn't go home and then finally did. From there she sent months in the hospital and then Noel received a call one day saying something happened to his mother and he said that he wasn't going to tell Ian. I didn't tell Ian but I told Mickey. Mickey then picked up Ian from school and told him the news and went to the hospital and waiting with Mickey for hours until finally receiving news that she had passed. Ian was there. Not Noel," Mandy said.

"I'm Mickey. I'm Ian's friend now. I use to hate him. He was the boy that showed me around the school when I first moved from the South Side. I said if he talked to me again I would kill him. Ian is and always has been a good guy. He's been for his mother and hasn't stopped since day one. He is just like his mother," Mickey said.

A tear dropped from my face.

"We'll take him into questioning," the officer said.

"FUCK NO HE'S NOT!" Noel said moving his way over to me.

Some police officers grabbed him and took him into another room.

"Bring someone you trust,"

"I'll go with Noel. You go with Mickey Ian," Mandy said leaving.

"Okay," I said starting to cry. Mickey came over by me grabbing me by the shoulder and bringing me closer to him.

"Did you actually mean that stuff you said," I asked Mickey.

"Hell no," he said laughing me.

The officer lead us to a private questioning room. It was small and made of stone. I looked over to a mirror. I knew it was a two way mirror, I read all about them in books about prison.

"Who are you in relation to Mr. Gallagher?" they asked Mickey.

"Uhhhh, just a friend," he looked over at me frowning and smiled.

"Close friends, very close," he laughed and I forced a laugh.

"Okay, well my name is Mr. Gray but you can call me David," he said smiling.
