With the wake of the Joker's devastating victories over the huntsmen of beacon, Ozpin knew that all bets were off, very soon the Joker would attack once more. Brooding alone in his clocktower at night, he was attempting to brainstorm ways on something to counter this new threat to Vale. Though the problem was not only external, but now internal. He also received much criticism after VNN found out that he had allowed Ruby. A girl 2 years younger than the bare minimum, to become a huntress. Thus endangering her through her lack of experience. No interviews would be held with them as of now. He was too busy regretting his decision.Ironwood: "It's tragic that Miss Rose had to die."
The headmaster turned around in his seat, to see his old friend stepping out of the elevator. Flanked by two Atlesian Knights.
Ozpin: "Ah, James. How wonderful it is to see you."
He rose from his seat.
Ironwood: "I wish it'd be under better circumstances."
The two of them embraced each other like brothers, before Ozpin adjusted his glasses.
Ozpin: "Did Glynda call you?"
The aging general shook his head, staring through Beacon Tower's large windows at the beautiful, vulnerable city. Coming out of the night clouds were Atlas' mighty hovercraft.
Ironwood: "I thought you needed some help, the Vytal festival is near after all..."
Ozpin: "Yes indeed, the people have to be motivated in these dark times... my huntsmen are already repelling a persistent second wave of Grimm... The Joker is winning... James?"
Ozpin asked. Ironwood turned to look at him.
Ozpin: "I always said that your army brought fear and tension wherever it went. Perhaps... for once, I'll allow you to help use it as an enforcing vestige of hope."
The General nodded slowly.
Ironwood: "A wise choice, Ozpin."
Ozpin: "Don't think that this is a green light from me to use the military to forward your own, personal goals."
The General crossed his arms and huffed.
Ironwood: "Oh please, Ozpin. We've been friends for quite some time already, is it too much of you to appreciate when I bring assistance?"
Ozpin: "I'm merely trading absolute anarchy and devastation for the possibility of crisis."
Ironwood: "Wise choice."
Ozpin: "Just, get your ships into Vale's airspace. I beg of you."
The general nodded in response, before contacting one of his cruisers in the area.
Ironwood: "Signal the rest of the task force to move in."
Ozpin watched through his window as the rest of Ironwood's military began to appear in the skies. Crossing his arms and sighing.
Ozpin: "One would think we'd be able to contain one man with all we've built... The people won't like the feeling of a foreign army in their home."
Ironwood slowly nodded.
Ironwood: "The difference between authority and authoritarianism become blurred in situations like these."
Meanwhile...
(Y/N): "...So, gentlemen that's how it is. Until Cinder fall he he he, resurfaces. I'm the acting leader of future operations. So, I suggest that we run this city into the ground. Well, not exactly a suggestion... but a proclamation!"
