Charlotte's POV
"Yeah of course." I said letting him in.
"Thanks." he said smiling.
"I'll be right back." I said before running into my bathroom.
I quickly got dressed and brushed my teeth.
"You didn't have to get ready for me."
"If you smelt my breath you would be dead." then we both started laughing.
"I wanted to ask you something."
"Shoot." I said sitting across from him.
"Would you do me the honor of going on a date with me." he said flashing his gorgeous smile.
"I'd love to!"
"Really?" he asked getting all giddy.
"Yeah! Is that the only reason you came to Colorado?"
"Well we can't go on a date if I'm in Pittsburgh!"
"I guess that's true."
"So see you Friday?"
"Sounds good!"
"Well I gotta go meet some of the guys who came with me." he said getting up.
"See you Friday!" I said closing the door.
I ran to my room and grabbed my phone. I called Mel.
"Guess what?!" I half yelled.
"What?!"
"I'm going on a date with the Beau Bennett!"
"What are you going to do? What are you going to wear?"
"I have no idea!"
"Well find out! We have to go shopping then!"
"Okay okay I'll find out!"
"Soon! Does Matt know?"
"What do you think?" I asked her
"Better that he doesn't." she said with a laugh.
"Keep it on the down low?"
"Anything for you. I gotta go Gabe just got home."
"Bye." I said before hanging up.
I texted Beau asking what we were going to do.
Me: hey! What are we going to do Friday?
Beau: It's a surprise all you need to know is to dress semi warm.
Me: sounds like a plan.
Beau: talk to you soon ;)
Before I could answer Matt walked in.
"You ready to play the Kings tonight?" I asked looking at him.
"As ready as I'll ever be. As you can tell this season isn't the best." he said sitting on the floor and playing with Paisley.
"You could change that you know."
"I guess." he said with a sigh, "Ashley comes home Friday, we are going out to dinner, you cool with that?"
"Yeah, yeah go ahead you two have fun." I said relieved.
"Thanks." he said with a smile.
I knew hockey was really bothering him but I didn't want to get into it.
