Chapter 33

"There is no way she is moving in yet." I told Charlotte.

"It was just a suggestion." She smiled.

"Anyways... when is this moving in together thing happening?" I asked.

"A month before training camp." She said.

"And you're okay with... this?" I asked Beau.

"Yeah for sure." He smiled, of course he was okay with it.

"Yeah... anyways we're going to go get dinner. Wanna come?" she asked.

"Sure." I smiled.

Eating dinner with them wasn't as awkward as I thought it would be, I mean basically me and Beau talked about hockey and who was going to win the cup. Char sat in the booth just listening to us, or at least I think that is what she was doing.

"I think Blackhawks and... Tampa for the cup." said Beau taking a sip of his soda.

"I think Hawks and Rangers." I told him.

"Now that would be a good series." he said.

Char was on her phone texting away.

Charlotte's POV

As Beau and Matt were talon about the Blackhawks, I remembered Kailey and Jonathan broke up.

How are you and Jonathan? I texted her.

She replied moments later

Back on track :)

I was relieved to hear that, they belonged together.

"What you smiling at your phone about?" asked Beau giving me a cheesy smile.

"Oh nothing, nothing." I smiled, they didn't believe a single word I said.

When we got back home we were welcomed by Pasiley, oh how I will miss him.

"He's you buddy huh?" asked Beau smiling at me.

"She's his new favorite." Matt said rolling his eyes then smiling.

"Interresting... well I gotta go catch a plane. I'll see you guys soon." he said.

"I'll walk you out." I suggested.

"Can you come out to Pittsburgh tomorrow, on me of course."

"Mhm... I'd love to." I said then wrapped my hand around the back of his neck, his hand found the usual spot on my hips.

"Awesome." he said then laid a kiss on my lips.

In the middle of our moment I heard knocking at the window... Matt was staring through the window, of course he was.

"I'll see you tomorrow." I pressed one kiss on his lips then walked back inside.

"Disgusting." Laughed Matt shaking his head.

"Shut up, I'm going to bed. I'll be gone for a couple days."

"No funny business." He said.

"Yes brother dearest." I laughed.

After I landed I found Beau in a crowd with a sign that read Charlotte Duchene (my girl). I laughed and walked over to him.

"What's going on Gorgeous?" he asked doing his usual pick me up and spin me hug

"Nothing much, just got off a plane ya know." I smiled.

"Okay let's get going." He said picking up me bags. "Where do you want to go to lunch?" he asked opening the car door for me.

"Let's go get chicken fingers." I laughed.

In the middle of our conversation he looked down at his watch and got a worried look on his face, "We gotta get going." he said as he hurried and paid the bill.

"What's the rush we're just at your place?" I asked as he opened the door for me and grabbed my bags.

"Oh you'll see." he said with a sly smile as he unlocked the door.

As I was laying on the couch texting Matt there was a knock at the door.

"Oh... well I think that's for you." he said trying to hide his wide grin.

I gave him a what - are - you - up-to look as I got up to open the door. When I did there was a small kennel with a whining sound coming from inside.

I flashed Beau a glare.
