I really was trying to not freak out so I swam to the bottom of the pool and came back up.

"So...as I was saying, why would I lie to you?" Lucas questioned.

I shrugged and got up out of the water and sat next to him as I hid my scarred arms behind me. Lucas laid his head on my thigh and looked up to me, giving me a smile, and somehow managed to hug my waist and I hug him back as I closed my eyes.

"I'm tired," I yawned.

"Me too, come on," Lucas said getting up.

I got up with him and went back into the house. I reach my room and grab my pajamas. Going to my closet I reach of a towel, a bra, and underwear and went into the bathroom. When I changed, I unlocked the bathroom door, I found Lucas looking at TV and I plopped down next to him.

"What are you watching?"

"Grey's Anatomy,"

I started watching the TV show and Lucas wrapped his arm around me. I looked at him as my eyes started to get heavy.

"Li?"

"Lucas?"

"Over here!"

I ran over to his voice and was greeted by a warm hug. As we separate I look down and scream in terror. The sticky blood clung to my clothes and I ran from him. I was scared of what he had done to cause the blood to be there. Darkness had surrounded me as I hid from the madness I just saw just a few second earlier.

"Li,"

"W-what do you want?"

"You!" Lucas said shaking my shoulders.

I screamed and ran further into the jungle.

"Li, stop running please, it was just a prank!" Lucas yelled.

"What?" I say and stopped running.

"It was a prank, I'm sorry," Lucas said coming up to me.

"You little-" I say giving him another hug not caring about the stuff on his shirt and hands.

"I'm sorry that I scared you. It was just fake blood," Lucas

confessed.

We started walking towards his house. Once we were there I noticed how cold it had gotten. We went into the house and walked upstairs to my room. I grabbed a new pair of undergarments and sweatpants along with a long sleeve shirt.

"I'm taking a shower," I stated as I closed the bathroom door.

I put my clothes in the hamper and turned on the water. When I was done taking my refreshing shower I dried off and put on my clothes. I walked out and Lucas was in fresh clothes.

Chapter 9 -

Someone tapped my shoulder and turning me around to make me look at them. My eyes were blurry so I immediately thought it was Lucas and jumped up and wrapped my legs around his waist and hugged him as he hugged me back.

"Are you really that happy to see me?" A familiar voice asked.

"Lucas?" I questioned.

"Taeyong," the voice answered.

"Well I don't care. I need a hug,"

"Are you okay?" Taeyong asked, I nod and he continues.

"Well...Lucas is downstairs eating your salad,"

I push Taeyong out my room and closed my door and got a shower. When I finished I put on this and got dressed. I curl my black hair and grabbed my phone and earbuds and went downstairs.

"Good morning Li," Lucas said when I passed the couch.

"Yeah, Yeah," I said grabbing an apple from the refrigerator.

"Hey Xai can I ask you something?"

"Yes?" I questioned.

"Can you hang out with me today?" Taeyong asked softly.

"Sure! Why not?" I say excitedly and bit into my apple.

I walk out with Taeyong following me and walk up to Lucas just before he walked out the door.

"Lucas, Taeyong and I are going to school together this time," I say.

"Okay I'll meet you in English, see ya," Lucas waved and got into his car and drove away.

"Come on Taeyongie," I said smiling as I grabbed my keys.

Taeyong closes the door that I locked and we both got into my car. I drove to school with a pondering thought. It was about last night with Lucas at the pools edge.

~ "How could I not, you have a amazing smile, good in school, really good at drawing, you also have a soothing voice, great at dancing, you can cook really well, hmm...what else...you smell like roses, you're very pretty, oh and...you're adorable," Lucas said pinching my cheeks gently. ~

I smile to myself thinking about his words, they were true but how could I ever believe them especially when it came from a man's mouth. I decide to ask a very jeopardizing question.

"Does Lucas has girlfriend or something?" I say as I park in front of the school.

"Yeah but I don't know her name,"

"Okay I'll ask," I say as I get out of my car along with Taeyong.

I walk silently to the bathroom trying to hold back my tears when Taeyong left to go to Math class. I go inside and lock myself into the biggest stall and take out my phone and earbuds out of my pocket. I listen to my piano playlist and sat in the farthest corner away from the door. I rest my head on the cold wall tile and close my eyes and let my mind focus on the music playing trying to block out my thoughts. Until a dumb ass decide to interrupt me and my calming music.

'Li were are you?'

'Leave me alone'

'Taeyong is in class so where are you?'

'Lucas, Leave me alone'

'Li are-'

'I'm fine. Just leave me alone'

'Please Li-

'Shut up and Leave me alone!'

I take out my earbuds involuntarily and try to calm down knowing Lucas would search for me after class. I start to hear voices and I stay still, not making a sound.

"Where is Bobby? I can't find him,"

"Xiang probably is doing something to him,"

"I hate her so much!"

"Chill but I saw her and Taeyong driving together here,"

"Lucas is my oppa and since she isn't in class I can...

"Lucas is clueless to what he is missing. He is clung to that hoe,"

"Taeyong oppa is mine and I will fight her if she touches him,"

"Lucas is such a fool. Xiang is trying to be queen here but we all will show her she is just fake like the rest,"

"Yeah,"

"Come on let's go back to class,"

I heard them leave and I released the breath I was holding in the whole time. I grab my phone and texted Taeyong.

ME: Hey. Wanna skip school? 😜

TAE: Where are you?

ME: Meet me on the roof

TAE: K

I grabbed my stuff and ran quickly to the stairs leading up to the roof and wait for Taeyong to come up the same stairs.
