Dean POV

At first, I wanted to immediately track down Julia and her two other pricks, but the more I think about it, the more I think Megan is on to me.

If I go on another killing spree the day after shit went down, she's going to think that I have something to do with the murder, which I do, but still. How the hell would Megan react to finding out her boyfriend is a psychotic serial killer?! My guess, not very good.

I've nearly lost Megan several times now, I am NOT going to make it one more.

So, I 'patiently' wait for next week to roll around, and FINALLY it does.

For the past week, I've been subtly scoping out where Julia and her friends are after school, where they're headed, who's house they're going to, all that creepy stalker shit.

I always have to be extra stealthy about it, since Megan is usually with me every time. She obviously doesn't know my plan.

When I finally have their schedule down, and it's a good time to do it, I start to plan my next murder.

—-

"Okay, so change of plans." I say to Megan, as we walk out of the school. "Something came up with my family, and I can't be with you right now." I then realize how that just sounded, and quickly add. "I mean, I can't hang out with you right now. It's not-I'm not, I'm-I'm not breaking up with you. That's not what I meant when I said that."

Wow. That was the most awkward sentence that has ever come out of my mouth.

"I get it, it's fine." Megan says with a laugh.

I grin at her, then say. "See you tomorrow, okay?"

She nods, gives me a quick kiss, then walks in the direction of her house, while I go for my next victim.

—-

I walk down an alleyway, quite similar to the one I killed Scott in. I find a side path where I can hide in the shadows, then I wait.

After about five minutes of doing nothing, I finally hear voices approaching, and to my delight, they're the voices I'm looking for.

I edge out of the path slightly, just so I can see them approaching.

Julia and Danyelle are walking side by side, while Damian is a few steps behind them, texting.

I block out the useless conversation the two girls are having, and focus all my attention on Damian.

The moment he steps in front of my path, I quickly reach one hand around his forearm, and the other over his mouth. I yank him back, so he is enveloped into the shadows too. He makes a muffled startled sound, but before he can fight back, I grab my knife and slit his throat.

Usually, I like to make my victims suffer, but in this case, Damian is just a decoy. I need him dead as quickly as possible for my plan to work.

Once his body is limp, and his eyes are sightless, I start sawing my knife back into Damian's neck.

It takes a few minutes, but all the while, Julia and Danyelle have apparently noticed that their other friend is not with them. With the two of them distracted by that, I'm able to sever Damian's head.

Once I have it in my hands (which are now completely covered in blood), I start to climb up a fire escape near me. Moments later, I'm on the roof, overlooking the two confused twits below me.

     Now for the fun part.

I watch as Julia and Danyelle start calling out Damian's name, as if he's going to fall from the sky or something. Little do they know, that's exactly what's going to happen.

When both girls are standing almost directly below me, I reach my arm out, and dangle Damian's head in the air, holding it by the hair. I then drop it, and it falls down, down, down, until it finally splats on the concrete right in front of them.

The girls both scream in unison, and bolt for the exit of the alleyway.

I quickly run after them from the rooftops, and when I make it to the last one, I get there before them, so I have time to run down a few levels, but not before Julia and Danyelle are about to pass me.

I quickly grab my knife, and throw it at Danyelle. It strikes her in the back of her left leg, and she screams in pain and falls to the ground.

Julia skids to a stop, and tries to help Danyelle up, but I have already made it to the ground.

"You shouldn't have gotten on my bad side." I say calmly, emerging from the shadows.

Julia whirls around, and stares at me with wide, terrified eyes.

"Y-you did this?" She asks in a high voice.

"Yes actually, I did." I stalk closer to her, in which she backs up.

I make it to Danyelle, who is looking up at me with terrified eyes too.

"You know, it's funny." I say thoughtfully, leaning down and casually yanking my knife out of Danyelle's leg, causing her to scream again. "No one really suspects me of murder, and when they find out, they're so shocked. Although, they die within the next thirty seconds or so. So, I guess that's why no one suspects me, is because all the witnesses are dead."

"S-so y-you kil-killed Branden then?" Danyelle asks in a shaky voice.

"Indeed, I did. I killed him for the same reason I'm killing you. Both of you got too close to Megan. Although, there is one difference between you. Branden just got close with her, but you hurt her." I say, focusing all my attention on Julia, who is paralyzed in fear. "So, I am going to make you suffer for that."

Not even ten seconds later, Danyelle's stomach is slashed open, and I have Julia pinned to the alleyway wall.

I'm slowly making her bleed out from several deep cuts on her neck, arms and stomach.

She's constantly screaming in pain, or begging me to stop, but I don't, not until she's laying at my feet in a pool of her own blood.

Finally, all my enemies are gone, and I can have Megan all to myself.
