Megan POV
Okay, so, it's been seven weeks since Jason's suspension. Honestly, not much has changed.
At school, we're just doing a lot of skits and small projects in Drama class. Although, half the time Dean and I get distracted by each other. At this point, the entire class knows that Dean and I are a couple, and no one dares to separate us, not even the teacher.
Outside of school, there's not really anything worth mentioning, besides the extremely awkward Thanksgiving dinner four weeks ago. My family and I all got together, and I was allowed to bring Dean. As you can guess, everyone asked him the same repetitive questions every family member always asks when there's a new addition to the family.
Stuff like 'how did you and Megan meet?' 'How's your relationship going?' 'Do you see yourselves with each other long term?'. Luckily, no one was bold enough to ask things like 'have you had sex yet?' 'When do you plan on getting married?' 'How many kids do you want?'. The entire time Dean was acting completely normal, while I was feeling very awkward. Basically, I wanted to melt into the floor, and stay there for the next hundred years or so.
The only recent development is that Jason returned to school last week, and he's not exactly a bucket of sunshine. He doesn't really speak to Dean or I, but he does send my boyfriend an occasional death glare. Whenever the playboy looks at me, however, he always gives me a significant look that says something along the lines of 'you still owe me, and you're going to pay up very soon'. That makes me very nervous.
This week, it is getting very Halloween-ish around the school, and it just so happens to be Halloween today, which is Friday.
Earlier this morning, Dean had the brilliant idea that we should dress up as murderers. Yes, I know, my boyfriend is very original.
So, against my better judgment, I put on a grey hoodie with ripped jeans and quickly make a knife out of cardboard. I'm assuming Dean is bringing his real knife (which is a terrible idea, but he's been doing that the entire time, so I guess it doesn't really matter). He's also bringing 'fake blood' with him, and I'm really hoping it is fake, otherwise he is SO DEAD. Yes, I realize I'm physically incapable of even drawing his own blood, but I will be really mad if he gets actual human blood on my favourite hoodie.
Once I'm in my costume, I walk out of my house and see my boyfriend in a similar costume. He has ripped black jeans, with his regular hoodie, and even a few scratches on his face and neck. I'm pretty sure they're fake, but Dean might actually be psychotic enough to actually cut himself.
He smirks at me as I approach him, then produces a small pouch from his hoodie pocket.
"This is the blood we're using, and before you freak out, no this is not from any of my victims. It is fake, and very much store bought. Also, yes, I did actually pay for it. I didn't steal it." Dean says, before I can even open my mouth.
"Okay, good." I say with a small laugh. "Are we putting it on our clothes too?"
"Yeah, but it's washable, so it will come off." Dean says, starting to walk down the sidewalk with me.
"Good, because if this stains my clothes I will literally kill you." I threaten, grinning at him.
We both know perfectly well that there's no way in hell that I'll ever be able to kill him, even if I wanted to, which I don't. He can easily overpower me, pin me down, and pretty much do whatever he wants to me.
Dean stares at me with an unreadable expression, and I'm worried that I offended him.
Apparently I didn't though, because he suddenly pushes me up against a tree and leans so close to me that I can feel his breath on my neck.
