Megan POV

The rest of the summer goes by relatively quickly. Most of it consists of work and going on dates with my boyfriend.

Speaking of which, Dean moved into his new apartment, which he apparently doesn't want to show me until it's completely done. I find that kind of pointless, but it's his decision.

The next thing I know, I'm waking up to my alarm and I realize it's the first day of grade twelve.

I get ready for school, and meet Dean outside. We walk together as always, then part ways when we go to our different classes.

I have English, Art, Media Arts and Drama.

The first three classes are very normal, but Drama is where it gets interesting.

First of all, Dean and I are in that class together, so you already know there's going to be a fair bit of snogging behind closed doors.

What makes it even more interesting, is the other people in the class. Well, more like one particular person.

Dean and I sit on the stage, talking about random stuff while waiting for everyone to come to class.

Almost everyone is here, except one person.

The bell rings, and not even five seconds later, the last student saunters in.

     Jason Sky.

Basically this kid is a knock off, less psychotic, off brand version of Dean.

All the girls love him, he's an arrogant prick and he thinks very highly of himself.

The one big difference, however, is the fact that Jason is the biggest playboy at the school. He gets around with pretty much every pretty girl, except me.

I have a strong suspicion that if Jason even looks at me, Dean is going to try to rip out his eyeballs and make him choke on them.

Now, I say try because there's actually a legitimate chance that Jason could beat Dean in a fight.

He's about 6'4, and Dean is 6'2, meaning Jason is taller than Dean. I know for a fact that Dean hates it when someone else is taller than him, so he might just murder Jason for that fact alone.

Besides that, Jason is an athlete that does some sort of fighting thing. Like karate or Kung fu or tai chi or something like that.

If you haven't noticed yet, there are two things in this world that I give zero shits about. Cars and sports.

Anyway, basically my point is that Jason is strong, tall and good looking. Everything Dean hates on another male.

He has pitch black hair, tanned skin and dark brown eyes. He wears a lot of black leather and I'm pretty sure he rides a motorcycle.

I swear I'm not stalking this guy, it's just that Julia went through a Jason phase in grade ten. So she told me all this shit about a guy that I seriously don't care about in the slightest.

I look over at Dean, and see that he is giving Jason one of fiercest glares I've ever seen him use. I can practically feel the jealousy burning inside my boyfriend right now.

I put my hand on his leg to get his attention.

When he finally looks over at me, I say to him quietly. "You don't have to worry about him, Dean. He's just a playboy. It's not like he's going to try to take me away from you."

I don't know if that's exactly true, because even though he's never spoken a word to me before, he looks at me a lot when we're in the same room.

Within the time span of three minutes of him being in the Drama room, he's glanced at me at least twenty times already.

He also has a signature smirk that is quite a lot like Dean's, which he will also not be pleased about.

Just as long as Dean and Jason stay away from each other, we should be able to avoid bloodshed.

Just as that thought crosses my mind, the black haired playboy looks in my general direction again, and this time actually walks towards Dean and I.

     Oh shit.

"Please don't be a dick to him, Dean. That's just going to start world war three." I plead quietly, looking over at my angry boyfriend.

     "I won't if he doesn't." Dean growls.

"Hey, I'm Jason." The playboy says casually, looking between both of us.

"I'm Dean, and this is Megan, my girlfriend." Dean says defensively, wrapping an arm around my waist and pulling me right up against his body.

"You're the new kid, right?" Jason asks, not acknowledging Dean's mild hostility.

"Well I'm not new anymore, I've been here for nearly a year now." Dean snaps, frowning at Jason.

"Right, well I think you and I have a lot in common. If you two ever want to work together, I'm sure we'd make a great team." Without waiting for a response, Jason briefly smirks at me, then saunters away.

     Okay, that is weird.

Jason has never been that friendly to another guy, especially one like Dean.

What the hell does this playboy want with my boyfriend?
