THE FIRST DAY OF JUNIOR YEAR

"Up here, come on. Focus." The afro with the boy attached says to his cameraman "Hi! I'm Jacob Ben Israel with glee's big gay summer. With all the glee dish you're dying to know"

I roll my eyes at JBI shoving his microphone practically down Rachel Berry's throat.

With my locker door open, I take a glance in my mirror to fix my high pony as the football players stroll through the teenager filled halls.

"I look literally disgusting" I sigh, closing the locker and leaning against the red steel.

"Shut up" Santana says "you're like one of the most tappable girls at this school"

"I second that" Brittany joins in and I just glance over at her with my eyebrows raised

Quinn walks over to our small gathering, looking pretty fashionable per usual- pre baby.

"hi guys" she says quietly "do you mind if I hang over here before home room?"

"Yeah we don't have a problem with it" Santana says, pointing to Brittany and herself, "as long as Dani's chill"

"Sure, whatever" I say, not letting the girl know how far under my skin she already is

JBI walks away from Finn and Rachel, and towards the girls once known as the "Fearsome Foursome".

"Ladies" He says, holding his microphone in his hand "How has life changed since the birth of your bastard child?" JBI asks Quinn

"Well, I'm happy to be back, and I'm ready to start fresh. And.. I'm a lot less.. hormonal, so there's not really anymore crying" She lifts the camera that was focusing on Santana's vanity adjustment to focus on her

"How was your summer?" Jacob says, referring to Santana's melons

"My eyes are up here, JewFro" She says as she files her nails "and it was uneventful"

"How about you? I have polls running that you're the front runner for prom queen this year"

"I had a good summer, tanned a lot, worked out a ton- of course without ever breaking a sweat- and hit the mall everyday with my girls" I tell the camera before turning to face Santana, giving a little high five

Before JBI could even open his mouth, Brittany started talking into the microphone

"People thought I went on vacation, but actually I spent the summer lost in the sewers" She informs the camera as Santana and I smirk at each other

Instead of leaving us alone, Jacob continues to harass Quinn about various personal questions about her child and Noah Puckerman

Rachel and Finn walk arm and arm down the hallway to which I can't help but look up and watch them. Almost as if they're moving in slow motion. I make all efforts to avoid eye contact but Finn's eyes meet mine and he smiles a toothless grin at me and I instantly look away.

"I'm gonna start heading to class" I tell Santana and Brittany "I have Philosophy first"

"wait the bell doesn't even ring for another ten minutes" Santana points out

"I know" I ignore her comment and I pick my backpack up off the floor, toss it over my shoulder, and start walking towards the classroom

I WALK THROUGH THE CROWDED HALLWAY heading to my class 10 minutes early

I'm day dreaming through the hallway when the boy's bathroom door is thrown open, knocking me down for the count

"woah" I yell as a reaction as I fall to the ground
