CHAPTER 14

EMILY'S   POV:

I met William 6 months ago, at Cassandra and Nick's wedding. Cassandra is Alyssa's elder sister and a very close friend of mine. She is like a big sister to me. Cassandra and Nick had been dating since 3 years and finally 6 months ago, they got married. Nick and William have been friends since they were in the fourth grade. They have been close friends. And so William also attended their wedding. William is really a very nice guy! He is polite, sweet and intelligent! We became friends immediately, just after we met! I really had a very good time with him! He and his thoughts are really awesome! They fill some kind of positive feeling in me!

"I said how do you know each other, William?" Zach shouted beside me and interrupted me in my thoughts. I looked over at him. He was looking very angry now. But what is his problem?

What is your problem, Emily? Why are you thinking so much about this jerk? I shook my head to get all the thoughts out of my mind.

"Zach, actually I and Emily met at Nick's wedding. Do you remember Nick, my school friend?" William told Zach.

"Yeah, I remember him." Zach said coldly without any expression on his face. Then he turned towards me.

"Emily, come to the dressing room. I want to give you some instructions about the show. Excuse me guys!" Zach said and immediately went towards the dressing room.

I quietly followed him. I don't know, why is he behaving like this?

I knocked at the door of dressing room. He ordered me to come in. I opened the door and went inside, closing the door behind me.

"Emily, are you comfortable in this dress? I don't want any last moment changes. So just tell me now." Zach ordered me. This man will never improve! He will always order me like I am his slave.

"Umm, yes I am comfortable in this dress," was all I could say.

He was about to tell something, when suddenly the door opened and William came in.

"Hey Zach! Why are you doing this? Ryan just told me that you are forcing Emily to become show's topper!" William told Zach.

I looked at Zach. He closed his eyes for a moment and was trying to relax. Then he opened his eyes and turned to face William,

"William, I don't think I have to give you a reason for everything I do." Zach said coldly and raised his eyebrows at William.

"Okay, buddy! Just calm down. By the way, when is the show?" William asked politely.

"Saturday evening." Zach replied.

"Okay." William said and turned towards me,

"But I must say chocopie, you look awesome! I have never seen you like this before," William told me.

"Thank you!" I replied.

"By the way, what are you doing tonight?" William asked me.

"Nothing interesting. But why do you ask?" I replied.

"Umm, would you like to come out for a dinner with me?" He asked politely.

"Yeah, I would love," I was not able to complete my sentence because Zach interrupted in between,

"No. She is going out with me! I have a dinner with Mr. John tonight and as she is show's topper and my PA, she is coming with me." Zach said.

"But you didn't tell me before," I argued.

"So what? I am telling you now. Do you have any problem?" Zach said and narrowed his eyes at me. I also looked into his eyes angrily. What does he think of himself? I am not his puppet!
