CHAPTER 7

EMILY'S  POV:

I just kept staring at him. Then suddenly he went into his office. I came back to my senses and realized what was going on. I angrily headed towards his office. I barged into his office. I shut the door behind me with a slam. I crossed my arms in front of my chest,anger clearly visible on my face.

"What the hell? Listen Mr. Zach, I am not working for a person like you. I quit! I will give you my resignation letter today only!" I snapped at him. It is better to be jobless rather than working for this Jerk.

I didn't wait for his reply and turned around. As I was about to open the door,then suddenly he said, "Miss Emily! I would like to inform you that you can't resign."

I turned back towards him. What is he speaking about?

"I can resign Mr. Zach!" I said angrily.

"Calm down sweetcheeks! Just sit here. I will explain you everything." He said pointing to a chair in front of his desk. I sighed and sat down on the chair.

"Listen, don't you dare call me sweetcheeks again. My name is Emily.Emily Evans!Got it!" I told him.

He just smiled and opened the drawer of his desk. He took out some agreement from it. He then turned some pages and suddenly stopped at one page. He marked something with a marker and then gave the papers to me.

I looked down at the papers and noticed what he had marked. My eyes widened again. Is he playing some game with me? How stupid I am! Really a big stupid! I have signed the agreement without even fully reading it! You fool Emily!

Yeah it was my job agreement. It was written that I have to work with him for atleast three months. Before that I cannot resign. If I did, then he can file a case against me in the court. After three months, I can resign freely if I wish! What the hell? I have really got myself into a very big trouble! Working with him for three months! I just can't even imagine it.

Then suddenly one idea came into my mind. If I tear the agreement,then there will be no proof and I will be free from this job. I looked up at him and suddenly started tearing the agreement. Then, I threw the pieces on his face. This time I waited for his reaction!

But he began to laugh! Laugh again! I am going to kill this man! God, please forgive me! Then he stopped and said,"Miss Emily. What did you do? Do you really think that this was the original agreement? No,it was not original. And by the way,I have nine more copies of this agreement apart from the original one. And in case, if you tore all agreements and original one also, I will like to inform you that the agreement is stored in my laptop as well as in Noah's laptop."

He is really playing some game with me.

"If you just enjoy tearing the agreements,then I can give you more! Do you want?" He continued and laughed again.

I stood up from my chair and headed out of his office closing the door with a slam behind me. I headed to my desk and sat on my chair. I closed my eyes and tried to calm down.

Then suddenly something jumped into my mind and I immediately went to Noah's desk.

"Hey Noah! Mr. Zach told me that you have my agreement saved in your laptop!" I told him as politely as I can.

"Yeah! But why do you ask?"

"I just want to see it. Can you please show me the agreement."

"Yeah,sure." He opened some file and the agreement appeared on his screen. He handed me the laptop. I went to the part which said that I cannot resign.

"Noah! Here it is written that I cannot resign before three months, right." I told him.

"Ya, you can't resign before that." He replied.

"Ok! It means that Mr. Zach also cannot fire me before three months,right?" I asked.

"No. If you do any mistake or if Mr. Zach finds you inappropriate for the job or company, then he can fire you at any moment. He can fire you even within these three months. He does not have to wait for three months to fire you. After all, he is the boss!" He replied.

"Oh thanks for the information." I told him.

I went back to my desk and sat on my chair with a huge smile on my face.

Great! I can't resign but you can fire me Mr. Idiot! Now just wait and watch! I will irritate you so much that you will be forced to fire me! And then I will be free from your damn trap! Now the devilish smirk came on my face.

It's really going to be a fun, playing this game!
