CHAPTER 26

ZACH'S  POV:

"Mr. Zach, you can come inside," the nurse told me and again went back into the room.

I immediately followed her.

Emily was lying on the bed. She was still in the unconscious state. I went towards her and sat on the stool kept besides her bed.

"Doctor, is she alright now? What had happened to her?" I asked the doctor.

"Mr. Zach, she is perfectly fine now. Actually, she became unconscious because her blood pressure was too high. I have given her the injection and now her blood pressure is normal. She will wake up soon. And then you can take her home. But keep her away from any kind of stress or hard work. I even suggest that you should take her out of the city for some days, just to refresh her mind and keep her away from any kind of stress or work. You know, like a refreshment trip. But, it is just a suggestion. You don't have to necessarily follow it, Mr. Zach" The doctor told me.

"No doctor, you are right. The best way to keep her away from stress is to take her out for a short vacation. Thank you doctor." I told the doctor.

"Its ok Mr. Zach. Nurse, come with me to room no. 56." The doctor said and left the room.

The nurse nodded in agreement and immediately followed her. The nurse shut the door behind her, leaving me and Emily alone in the room.

The doctor was right! Emily need a break from her routine life. But if I will tell her to come on a vacation trip with me, then she will never agree. I have to think some other way to take her out! But what Zach? Think, Zach think!

Yes, got it! You are great, Zach! But what about place? Where should I take her? Hmm... Paris! Yes! Paris, she will surely like the place.

I will tell her that I have an important meeting to attend in Paris and as she is my PA, she will have to accompany me.

Great! We will leave tomorrow evening in my private plane!

EMILY'S  POV:

The sun rays were striking directly in my eyes. So, I slowly opened my eyes.

But what the hell? Where am I? And what the hell is Mr. Zach doing here?

My one hand was in his hand, with our fingers twined with each other. He was asleep. His hand was warm. He was looking cute while sleeping.

I tried to pull my hand away from him, without disturbing him. But I finally woke him up.

"Emily, when did you wake up? Are you okay now?" Zach asked me.

"Just now, and yes I am feeling okay. But what had happened to me? And where am I? This is not my home!" I replied.

"You are in a hospital, Emily. You ran from the restaurant towards the parking. When I reached there, you were lying on the floor, in an unconscious state. Do you remember something?" Zach told me.

Yes! Now I remember everything! I ran from the restaurant because of my step-sisters and their friends. They were harassing me. Mr. Zach had punched the guy, whose name was..umm...Carson, right.

"Thank you, Mr. Zach for bringing me to the hospital. Thank you so much." I told Zach.

He was about to reply, when suddenly the door opened and the nurse came in.

"Good morning, Mr. Zach. Good morning, Miss Emily. How are you feeling now?" The nurse asked me with a smile on her face.

"Good morning. I am fine now! But what had happened to me?" I told the nurse.

"Nothing serious, Miss Emily. Your blood pressure was a little high. But now, it is normal." The nurse told me and turned towards Zach,

"Mr. Zach, these are some medicines, you have to bring from the store. And you have to fill a form on reception, and then you can take your girlfriend home." She told Zach, placing a prescription paper in his hand.

What? Girlfriend? No, I am not his girlfriend!

I was about to speak, when suddenly Zach stood up from his place,

"Yes, I will bring the medicines now only. And even fill the form. Please, take care of her. I will be back in some time." Zach told the nurse and immediately left the room, closing the door behind him.

"I must say Miss Emily, that you are really very lucky to have such a caring boyfriend. He loves you a lot. He stayed with you the entire night. I asked him to go home and take some rest. But he was not ready to leave you alone. You are lucky, Miss Emily, really very lucky." The nurse told me.

He stayed here the entire night. But why? Why do he even care in the first place? Noone has cared for me like this! And what did the nurse say? He is my boyfriend and I am lucky to have him! No, he is not my boyfriend.

I was about to speak when suddenly Zach entered into the room.

"Emily, I have filled the form and now we can go home. Come with me." Zach said and extended his hand for me.

I placed my hand in his hand, and started to walk. But my legs were shaking. I was feeling like there is no energy left in my leg. So I lost my balance and was about to fall. But Zach immediately wrapped his powerful arms around my waist.

"What happened Emily? Are you okay?" He asked me.

"Yes, I am okay. But my legs are shaking and I am feeling like there is no energy left in them." I replied.

Suddenly, Zach placed his one arm behind my legs and pulled me in his strong arms, like I was his bride.

"What are you doing? I will fall Zach." I told him.

"I will not let you fall, Emily." He said and started walking.

I just kept staring at him. What has happened to anaconda? Why has he become so caring? What is going on in his mind?
