Ava- We are going to Brian's tonight, ok?
Me- I.. um.. I can't, actually.
Ava- What do you mean?
Me- I have something to do tonight.
Ava- You barely got here, what barely know people in this town, what do you have to do?
Me- I'm going out.
Ava- With..
Me- Drew. - I whispered.
Ava- What? I can't hear you.
Me- Drew. - I said in normal tone.
Ava- The guy from the airport?
Me- Yeah.
Ava- I can't believe you. After everything we talked about last night?
Me- I know, it's just..
Ava- You are totally aware that going out with him is not good for you nor him.
Me- I know.
Ava- Then why?
Me- I died tonight. - She looked at me totally confused.
Ava- What?
Me- I died in my sleep. And I decided I won't waste any more time playing games.
Ava- You're not playing games, you're looking out for your mental health.
Me- Well, my mental health says it's fine to go out with a nice guy once in a while.
Ava- Ok, just.. Be careful. I don't want you to get hurt.
Me- I won't. I know what I'm doing. - She smiled empathic.
Ava- Ok. What time are you leaving?
Me- 8.
Ava- Great, we have plenty of time to do our skincare together.
Me- Yeah. - I smiled. It was 5pm when we started our skincare, then, when we finished I went to take a shower and get ready, and so did Ava, because she was still going to Brian's.
I dried up my hair and curled it and did my makeup, as basic as I did last night, only this time I tried and did that "glossy eyes" technic, still with the eyeliner and false eyelashes.
I put on a black jeans and a cute red bodysuit with some yellow flowers on it, I thought it would fit the occasion, and to match the bodysuit I added a red lipstick. I put on some jewelry, a black high heels and my favorite cologne. I was 20 minutes early, then I sat on my bed to help Ava choose her outfit and a few minutes later I got a text from Drew saying he was downstairs.
I took my a hand purse and my phone and left. As soon as I walked out of the building I saw Drew waiting for me outside his car and exhaled. He was wearing a white social shirt with three bottoms open and black pants. He looked sooo hot.Drew- Wow, you are stunning. - He said and I smiled.
He put one of his hands on waist when I put mine on his shoulder, and we have each other a kiss on the cheek.
Me- Thank you. You look amazing. - He smiled while opening the door for me.
Drew- Ready to dance some Tango tonight? - He said getting into the car through the other door.
Me- That's why I came with these tonight. - I pointed to my heels. We talked a lot all the way to the restaurant and when we got there I was totally impressed, the place was amazing, it was in a high spot where we could see the lights of city, there was a fountain where people throw their coins and make wishes and everything was so colorful and happy, the waiters and waitresses seemed totally happy to be there, with such a smile on their faces that was extremely contagious. Drew had booked a table outside where we could enjoy the view and the cold breeze. Everything was perfect. I was glad I decided to go.
We ordered and watched the people dancing, when the food came we ate and talked a lot. Then I stared at the city smiling for a while until I noticed Drew looking at me.Me- What?
Drew- You look happy. - He smiled sorta "admiring" me.
Me- I am. - I smiled excited. - This night has been amazing.
Drew- Glad you're enjoying it.. - He got up - But it's not over yet. - He gave me his hand and I held it, getting up too.
Me- Where are we going?
Drew- To dance.
Me- No, no, no.. No way. - I stopped and let go of his hand.
Drew- What? I thought you had agreed to dance with me.
Me- I thought you were kidding. - He chuckled.
Drew- I wasn't.
Me- I can't dance.
Drew- Why not?
Me- No way, I'm too clumsy. - He laughed.
Drew- That's not a problem, I'm gonna help you.
Me- Oh, fuck, Drew. - I exhaled and took his hand again.
Drew- A little bit of salsa have never killed anyone. - He said walking into the dance floor.
Me- Yeah, but shame have. - He laughed.I was sooo nervous I coul de barely move my legs, then I looked around and saw everyone having so much fun, they wasn't minding that they couldn't dance so well, they were just having fun. And that definitely helped me loose myself a little bit. I tried to remember some of the moves my highschool teacher thought me and I think it went very well. People started joining us and soon almost every couple in the restaurant was dancing. When the song ended we all applaud ourselves. It was amazing, definitely one of the best experiences of my life.
