~ slightly mature warning ~

"Seriously?", I scoffed, leaning back into Jimin, "Seven minutes in heaven?"

"Yeah", she shot back coldly, "Go for it. Maybe you'll finally figure some things out."

"We're not in high school, Evie", I rolled my eyes, hoping for the love of god I didn't have to go in that closet with Taehyung.

"Actually, that's a great idea", the same guy who dared Jimin to have me in his lap spoke up with a dirty look.

"Yeah, c'mon, don't be such a killjoy", someone else complained.

I glanced over at Taehyung, who was eyeing me nervously. His tongue kept wetting his lips and that's all I could focus on for a moment.

"Fine", I snapped myself out of it and stood up wearily.

I expected maybe some pushback from Jimin, but he seemed completely out of it as he sat there with his eyes almost closing. I would've asked if he was alright, but my mind was clouded with what the fuck I was doing.

Taehyung started walking in front of me and I stumbled after him towards the closet. We could both hear the hooting behind us.

"Have fun sucking each other off!", one guy yelled.

"Fuck her brains out, Taehyung!", another one cheered.

Drunk college guys are really the worst. Except maybe for the one who was opening the door to the utility closet at this moment.

As soon as the door shut behind me, we were plunged into darkness.

"Tae, I can't see...", I voiced timidly, hearing nothing but his breathing right in front of me.

His chest bumped into my face and I yelped a little.

"Sorry!", he quickly apologized and finally found the light switch he was looking for.

Switching it on, the light was still very dim, only providing us with a soft glow in the small closet packed with shelves. He was standing close to me, looking down into my eyes as he bit his bottom lip. His left cheek was now a dusted red color from where Lily had struck him earlier.

"Tae...", I reached up in concern, gently placing my hand against the injured skin, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah", his voice sounded husky, "I don't feel a thing..."

"That's good...", I retracted my hand shyly and lowered my head when I remembered what we were supposed to be doing right now. He noticed immediately.

"We don't have to do anything, Charlotte", he assured me, his gaze never leaving me, "The others would never know."

"Mmh", I nodded and started slurring my words, "It would be stupid to do something anyway..."

"Exactly", he agreed softly.

"Cause you just broke up with your girlfriend", I said, more to remind myself than anything else.

"I broke up with her a couple days ago", he corrected me.

"Oh...", I blinked at him. Was I always this much smaller than him? He seemed so tall as he loomed over me so closely. "Well... We said we'd come here as friends so..."

"Yeah, we're here as friends", he echoed faintly, his tongue gliding over his lips again.

But our words were just meaningless whispers as our drunkenness and proximity raised the temperature in that enclosed space. Taehyung's fluffy black curls fell into his eyes, but I could tell that they were hooded as they focused on me. His breathing was shallow, yet so close I could almost feel it against my skin. My mind was hazy and occupied by only one thought: What would those damn lips feel like right now? It was almost as if his eyes reflected the same exact thought.
