"HEY!" someone yelled at us from a distance. I recognized the voice but didn't know who it was till I turned around. It was Two bit Mathews. "What do you want two?" I asked. "Did you hear that Ponyboy got-" I cut him off "A Girlfriend. I've heard plenty about it. She's a dirty rotten lying soc!" "You're just jealous aren't you. She seems sweet and very pretty"
I could agree with him there, she is stunning, but he doesn't understand how horrible she is. "She ain't jealous, the gang better watch out for Caroline. Letting a soc in for no good reason" Kian snapped. "Loosen up a little fire head! She doesn't seem much like a soc. She seems like she'd rather be a greaser, wonder why." two bit ruffled Kians hair. "I better get a move on, maybe I'll catch a broad at a bar or something. Cya later!" Two bit headed out.
"The gang will never understand the true Caroline, because sometimes they're a bunch of idiots" "Not always, but I do agree with you" Kian put his arm around me and pulled me closer to him and we walked on back to the curtis's
We got to the Curtis's place, I hesitated to open the door, if Caroline was there I would probably start crying. I opened the door to reveal Caroline sitting beside Ponyboy, Steve was standing beside an armchair that Soda sat in and Johnny had pulled a chair from the dinning room into the living room.
Caroline quickly turned her head in my direction. "Wyatt.." She scoffed. I rolled my eyes. "Whatever" I said as I hid myself beside Kian, so I wouldn't look at Caroline and she wouldn't look at me.
"I'm surprised my little brother got a soc as a girlfriend. Socs never go for Greasers" Soda smirked as he leaned back in the armchair "I don't know, just something about Ponyboy, he's absolutely gorgeous" Caroline giggled, that girl doesn't even know anything about him!
She doesn't know how nice he is, how caring he is, how protective he is, how helpful he is. He's just a puppy wanting to be loved like how his parents loved him and out of all the people that could love him as much as his parents did, he chooses Caroline. Darry is right, Ponyboy never uses his head!
