"Aliely just isn't the person to do that"
I silently sobbed in the back of the detention class, trying not to get noticed by any of the kids. I'm not new to detention, but I'm sure new to losing my blade. It made me feel like I couldn't breathe, like my heart was gone.
I just had to ride it out and hide my tears, usually I'm good at hiding my emotions, but it was my mother's blade, I couldn't keep my emotions in. I just had to let them out, but detention ain't the right place to do that.
I did my homework that I had and the work the teacher gave us. I had to write "I'm sorry for pulling out a blade" probably 300 times, just so I could give it to Caroline, as the teacher said.
When I got home Aliely sat on the stairs holding a little trinket. "What's that?" I asked, slowly gliding towards her. "A pocket watch, Ryan gave it to me" "Aliely has a boyfriend!" I mocked, just trying to make her mad. "No I don't!" I ran upstairs quickly sitting the door so she couldn't get in, she knocked and yelled for a few minutes before giving up and heading to her room.
I sat down at my vanity and stared into the mess that was me, I had water marks streaming down from my eyes to my chin, my entire face was pink. I looked like I just went through the most horrible beating of a life time.
The one thing with Aliely is, she won't ask questions on why you look a certain way, she'll leave you be and just try to make you happy, I loved that, sometimes. It's nice once and a while for someone to ask if you're ok, but Aliely just isn't the person to do that.
