(btw bones means a doctor\healer and tyros are apprentices)

The next day little leaf awoke nearly a full day later, the sun was starting to set she could see its faded light coming down a tunnel. The hollow sounded filled with rabbits, the whole tribe, she thought. Barley managing to get out of her nest little leaf stumbled to the den entrance, continuing up the tunnel to the surface her eyes were bombarded with many rabbits. They all seemed to be gathering around  something...

Little leaf squeezed through the crowd instill she could see what the commotion was about, it was dew lying on the ground gasping for breath. No no no no NO! She thought. Not dew. The colonie's bones, berry was sniffing a nasty wound on her back leg. The rat flashed through her mind, she knew what had happened. Suddenly berry snapped "if you're just going to stand and stare go make yourself useful" she snarled. Shocked the colonies filtered into the warrens whispering quietly, only few were brave enough to cast glances back at the the two remaining rabbits.

As for little leaf she sprinted off into the woods, she needed time to think. The world flashed by her in a blur, she no longer felt as if she were flying and instead felt herself sinking farther and farther in a pit of despair. The young tyro was only 3 months old, meaning she would become an adult in 2 months. The thought of being an adult without dew made her sick.

Before long little leaf found herself at a narrow stream no deeper than a foot, a patch of sunlight found its way through the Forrest canopy casting golden flames onto a flat rock nearby. Feeling tired enough to collapse little leaf jumped onto the rock and sat. Her mind had not stop thinking the most horrid things since yesterday but little leaf had managed to push it out of her mind. Now with the image of dew settled into her mind she started to weep. Her eyes blurred and she had to lay down to avoid collapsing.

Rustling sounded behind her and the younger bones stepped out. Moth was a tyro as well, still learning the ways of healing the young rabbit was generally very busy. "I would have thought berry needed you" little leaf mumbled. "No, dew is going to be okay. She's resting now" he replied. "Really?" She questioned looking up her eyes brimmed with tears.

Moth hopped up onto the rock and sat down next to her. He began grooming little leaf, she sighed and rest her head on her forepaws. Soon enough she was sleeping again

Moonlight cascaded over the two young rabbits as they slept. Little leaf's whiskers twitched as a small speck of dust drifted by.she awoke sneezing, startling moth enough to fall flat on his face off the rock. Both rabbits burst into laughter all negative thoughts gone from their mind. Looking at the sky she noticed the moon in the middle. "Oh no" she cried "we better get back soon" agreed moth "Wanna race?", his eyes were gleaming as he took off.

Little leaf leaped from the rock, she took off running immediately catching up to moth, She pulled ahead of him flicking her ears at him. He promptly sped up taking the lead again. Oh its on she thought, pulling all her energy together she took the lead. Both rabbits burst into camp at the same time scaring the adults.

"Where were you!" Questioned birch. "I'm sorry me and moth lost track of time..." Answered little leaf. "Oh I see" he smirked glancing between the two of them "well we have practice early in the morning" called birch as he hopped off. She was so very embarrassed, turning to moth she said "next time im gonna beat you!". "Good luck, you better get some rest, you heard birch." He responded glee fully. Both tyros turned to head to their dens feeling how tired they had been.

Little leaf hopped quietly into her nest careful not to disturb the other tyros. I'll check on dew tomorrow she thought closing her eyes. Her stomach fluttered as she thought about her night with moth. She imaged his gray fur blending against the rock they had sat on, his sweet smile as she caught up, the smell that reathed around him full of healing herbs. Sighing she slipped into a deep sleep
