Once I returned to my cabin, I could not shake the strange and magnificent classes that I just finished. Four of them remained as ordinary school classes such as math and reading, then there was music however the last class was outstanding. I remember everything so vividly:

I entered a spacious room with absolutely no desks in my sight. Our teacher descended down from the roof gracefully.

"Hello everyone, find an open space!" She said, while everyone was bustling around for an area. "Today we are going to practice our individual powers. Focus down to the core of who you are and what you fight for. Then release it into what you specialize."

I sat in silence remembering every heartache and joyful moments that my memory can bring forth like a stream. My body started heating up, and when my eyes opened to see what I could create, all I saw was a golden shine around me and that was all. Filled with despair feeling as though I failed. Suddenly, one of my half brothers, who was eight, dropped his leg scratched up as if a lion tore through it. Immediately, I went to aid him not caring that I was still a human spotlight.

"Hey there, you okay," I asked in an affectionate way. As I put my hands over his scratch it started to heal as soon as the light beamed against it. I now knew why my power was unable to go through earlier. I had the affinity to heal the injured and transform objects.

The memory is hidden well to remember in the future in case an emergency approaches and I would have to be prepared. Finally getting out of my itchy, uncomfortable uniform, I proceeded outside where before my eyes I saw an unusual sight.

"I swear Markus, I am going to get you!" Mary screamed shocked that he threw dirt at her that is sticking to her in every way and although I learned that yes she is a spirit, she is also able to pick up things and appear normal however she can also disappear at will .

"What are you going to do, stop me?" He questioned with a smile plastered to his face setting Thomas on the ground to play in the dirt. The smile remained there until he couldn't see Mary. Although yes being the son of Lucifer has their benefits, Markus does not hold the affinity to see spirits in their true vapor like form. He glanced around the defense written in his expression when suddenly Mary threw herself on him causing them both to topple to the ground. While they were laughing a storm up, I drew them together rolling around in the dirt and laughed with them until eventually Markus won by straddling over Mary, victory written clearly in his eyes a slight blush coming across his cheeks as well as Mary's.

Suddenly I realized that Mary, my athletic sister who hates any girly outfit, has a crush on a boy and is willing to make things work even in her predicament. I never foresaw this coming across and felt a sudden urge of protectiveness for Mary. I turned around to watch Thomas continue in the mud pie contest with his other younger siblings until I was aware of an uneasy feeling emanating from the woods; I squinted my eyes in hope of seeing further however only to see a shadow of an unknown man. I grabbed Thomas and decided not to worry Mary with such ideas that can prove to be false; so I decided to talk about Markus instead.
