This was a novel. I had realized it the moment the original body's memories merged with mine. The novel was a book called "Her CEO" . It was about a boy named Alexander who was abandoned at a young age. His parents, both unimaginably rich, died in a plane crash when he was young. Because of this, he was forced into the business world at the tender age of 13 and had to fight to secure his spot as the CEO of his parents company.

Along with his heartbreaking story, there was another journey of a girl who experienced a similar loss. The girl was named Ember for her fiery red colored hair and had lived in a small village since childhood. She was spoiled incessantly by her parents and was their princess right from the moment she was born. Although her parents never had much, they gave her everything she wanted even if that meant they went a few days hungrier than usual.

Sadly her parents, due to a village flood, pass away suddenly and she is left to provide for herself. She stumbles to pick herself up and meets Alexander whom she falls in love with at first sight. Like a cliché romance novel with her as the female lead, she does everything in her power to get closer to Alexander.

I remember feeling furious about the cliché plot as Alexander soon falls in love with her too. I felt like slamming my head against my phone and chucking it across the room. However, I knew the price of my phone and decided otherwise.

What was even sadder in the novel was that Alexander had a ridiculously beautiful fiancé who was a sweet girl named Ella. She was betrothed to Alexander from a young age and fantasized about him being her prince that would rescue her from any troubles she would have. Sadly, the character only had a few mere sentences written about her in the novel before she was written to be dead by the author. The cause of the death was, of course, Ember.

Poor Ella saw a girl running blindly across the road crying her eyes out on dreary, rainy day. The rain poured hard and fast, and Ella noticed a car speeding towards the girl who was crying while trying to cross the road. Without even flinching, Ella ran across the concrete pavement and pulled the girl back, only to be hit by the car in the process. The girl was none other than Ember whom she saved. Somehow Ember was free from any harm and escaped with no bruises.

Sadly, due to Ella being a minor character in the novel, the author hadn't seemed to put much effort into writing her and just described her death to be tragic. One hit from the car and she was dead.

Ember, realizing what had happened, mourned and helped get in the ambulance to take Ella to the hospital. At this point the paramedics thought to put Ella's body in the hospital morgue and call any members related to her.

Alexander was someone who received one of the first calls and rushed to the hospital immediately. There he saw Ella's pale, lifeless body and Ember crying next to it. Recognizing Ember almost instantly, he questioned what had happened. At this point he had developed a tiny crush on Ember which he would not admit.

The couple somehow grieved together over the dead body and their bond grew even stronger. Pitiful Ella never had realized the woman she had saved wanted to steal her prince from her. She only thought about saving a life no matter who it was and rushed in mindlessly, following her inner instinct.

How in the hell did I become Ella?!
