I picked myself off the hard café floor and dusted off my hands. My loud fall had attracted the notice of the other people sitting in the café. Elegantly, I readjusted my fallen chair and sat back down at the table, acting as if my fall had never happened. Seeing my nonchalance, the once interested crowd of coffee lovers turned their heads back towards their own work, knowing there was no kinda of drama that was going to occur.

All of a sudden, I felt something buzz slightly inside my dress. I put my hand near the buzzing and found out my dress had a pocket which I had not noticed before. A small, wet, and cracked mobile screen was pulled out of my damp pocket. Instinctively, I answered the call.

"Ella, where are you?" A deep voice spoke through the line. The voice itself sent shivers down my spine. It seemed familiar and warm, causing my heart, or should I say Ella's heart, to slightly thump louder than it did before.

"I'm... at a café." I whispered softly in response. The man at the end of the call sighed, as if in a hurry.

"There's been an accident on the road. I might be a bit late in picking you up. My driver almost ran some red headed lady over with our car." As soon as he said those words, I had a feeling I knew who the man on the other end of the phone call was. I knew who he was and I also knew who the flaming haired lady was. It wasn't only my voice which shook at that moment, somehow my heart did too. I felt something inside me strangely break in a way. These unfamiliar emotions caused me to suddenly stutter.

"A-Ah. T-That's okay. I'm at Woodland café at the moment. I'll p-probably get some coffee t-t-there." my voice shook and squeaked slightly.

"Ella, are you... okay?" I somewhat hoped the voice at the other end of the phone would say, but instead I was met with the background noise of arguing.

"Listen, I got to go. I'll pick you up once I sort out this problem." Just as quickly as the call had came, it ended too. The silence after the call ended sent a pang of bittersweetness through me, as all I could do now was wait for his car to arrive.
