"Ha..." A small laugh escaped my lips. It seemed as though every second I spent in this world, the more and more I would drift further away from my past self. I could feel myself starting to become Ella.

I had not spoken a single word nor a single phrase, but somehow every second I took to relish my life resulted in a loss of memories.

All I had with me now was the plot. The plot of the book and distant memories I couldn't uncover from my previous life. Maybe it was better that way. After all, recalling those distant memories hadn't given me much happiness at all.

The chiming laughter and smiling faces in those foggy memories seemed rare and distant. Just uncovering them seemed near impossible and painful to do. Even asking the question of whether or not I was ready to face the truth was something I had already questioned and the answer would always turn out to be a simple "no".

Ignoring these harsh realities, I picked myself off the floor and readjusted my clothing. I was no longer the woman I was before. I was Ella. The male leads golden fiancé who met a terrible end.

Except I wasn't going to be gullible and pitiful anymore. I was a changed and evolved Ella.

This was now my life and since god had given me a second chance, I would definetly take it.
