"IS this what normally happens on everyone's first day?" Mackenzie questioned while she attempted to move the rocks to clear a pathway.

"Define normal" Ron and Moon chuckled together. "You're like Harry, trouble finds you at every corner."

"Must be in my blood." It was true she received detention in her second week of Beauxbatons. When one of her muggle-born friends introduce her to 'The Hunger Games' when the teacher asked the class a question she stood up and yelled: "I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE!"

"You close to your sister?" Ron stopped moving rocks and looked down at his feet.

"Well, she's my baby sister gotta look after her... what about you, got any sibling?" Now it was Mackenzie turn to look down at her feet sorrow washed over her to think she could have not spent all those years alone.

"Uh no... though I wish I do- Aha! I found an opening, come help!" They worked together to pull the rocks out leaving them with a tight fit hole. Ron tried to crawl through but it was too small. Moon pushed him aside and gave him her wand.

"Don't break it!" She demanded, scurrying through the hole only pausing when she scraped her knees on the sharp rocks. Is tried to ignore the pain spreading through her legs, she had more important things to focus on. When she got on the other side she turned to help Ron through, who she guessed is her new friend, maybe. Though they were unsuccessful. Ron seemed to think for a moment before he signalling for Moon to continue without him.

"Go help Harry, I can clear the rest. Please save my sister!" Moon hesitated, running though plans to get Ron the other side though none of then would work and she knew it with, a short nodded the girl held out her pinky. She knew it was childish though it was the one way to show that she would keep a promise.

"I'll make sure of it,"

She entered the chamber to find no Harry but a ginger-haired girl lying on the ground and a black-haired boy with Slytherin robes on. Moon hurried over to them to see if the boy knew where Harry was. He seemed rather calm in the situation and Moon was careful to approach him. Tom was stunned to see the girl, he had never seen or heard of her, and somehow she had found a way into his chamber.

"Excusez-moi have you seen a boy with glasses, he looks around my age, a rather bad hair cut?" The boy raised an eyebrow; she breathed out annoyed with his kept silence. "Okay... thanks for the help," Awkwardly she kneed down on her bloody knees hissing slightly, checking for a pulse within her neck though she only found a faint beat.

"Ginny, can you hear me? It's going to be okay, I'm Moon, I'm here to help..." No sign of movement came from Ginny. "HARRY!" The young blonde glanced around to see if he could hear her but got no response. Her stress level grew bigger by the second as she peered down at Ginny. No amount of book reading could help her in a situation like this, she'd prepared to help people who need medical assists, though when it came to the real thing she froze up. Suddenly Harry came running out from one of the tunnels his footsteps echoing through the dank chamber.

"Moon, get away from him!" Harry ordered glared at the black-haired boy, but she stayed still contemplating her next more.

"I can't Harry, Ginny's fading! I need to help her" Moon gasped, instead of arguing he ran over to her and Ginny. Finally, the strange Slytherin boy spoke.

"It is almost complete" Sounding very please with himself. What was almost complete? Moon was getting very sick of being confused but now didn't seem to be the right time to ask. Her cousin and the strange boy spoke bitterly to each other while Moon stared at Ginn's dying form. She had to do something, she promised Ron. The name Lord Voldemort was mentioned, that made Moon's blood run cold. Harry tried to put on a brave face but was shaking inside. Mackenzie placed a hand to Harry's knee trying to reassure him while checking over the young Weasley.

Only to fall backwards when a massive snake jumped out of nowhere scared the life out of her. Both tweens stared up in horror. Their hearts beating loudly in their ears. Moon lost all sense and froze on the spot. Harry ran past her frigid figure with a sword in hand, how he got it was beyond Moon but she didn't care.

The poor French girl looked down at her bloody hands that shook uncontrollably. Why couldn't she focus? Why couldn't she stop shaking? She needed to be strong, not weak she couldn't freeze up when Ginny or Harry need her. Snapping out of her somewhat trance. Harry now sat next to her, his hand trying to keep blood in his arm as a large wound covered it. Now she could somewhat focus, helping apply pressure to Harry wound.

"Um, thanks,"

Smiling slightly she responded, "Hey, what are cousins for, right?" He stared at her for a while before he was distracted by Ginny gawking at his cut.

"Don't worry. Moon get Ginny out of here to Ron." Harry urged the girls to leave. Moon stared at him with a sorrowful look, she stupidly left her wand with Ron. Without magic, she could not fix this wound.

"I'm so sorry Harry if only I had my wand or a bucktree leaf or even a phoenix-" Moon started babbling to her newly found cousin, who she couldn't save.

"Wait, right phoenixes have healing powers. Ginny get Fawkes." The bird travelled over to Harry dampering his arm with tears that healed it straight away. The two girls helped the Gryffindor limp out of the horrible chamber.

"Well, that was eventful," Moon breathed out earning a chuckle from Ginny and a pained laugh from Harry. "I'm Moon, by the way, I introduce myself before but, I think you were out cold."

"Ginny Weasley, the best one out of the bunch."

When they found Ron, Lockhart had awaked again and was babbling on about nothing, Harry and Moon were surprised that Ron hadn't knocked his out again. Immediately upon arriving back in the girl bathroom they could see drawn breaking. The boys went straight to Dumbledore's office leaving the red-head and blonde with Lockhart.

"I guess we should take him to the nurse..." Moon commented frowning which made Ginny giggle. The first-year lead the way to the hospital wing.
