𝙨𝙪𝙣𝙛𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 🌻 | 𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙮 𝙋𝙤𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙚 - 𝙛𝙖𝙣𝙛𝙞𝙘

-𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐇𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐬-

MOON and Astreria wondered around the snowy wonderland. Unfortanly Ginny and Luna were still in their second year so they couldn't come along until next year. 

"I wanna go to the shrieking shack" Astreria strolled off before Mackenzie had a chance to say anything. 

"Meet me at the Three Broomsticks after!" Moon yelled at the brown-hairs retreating figure. She huffed in frustration, now she was alone. 

"Hey Mo, where's the gang?" Ron asked parading up to her with Hermione and Neville at toe. 

"There's not much of a gang, Astreria is at the shrieking shack, I think Dean and Seamus are in Honeydukes and... I'm here... But Astreria and I are gonna meet up in Three Broomsticks in like an hour." 

"Oh great, will meet you there in an hour, come on Ron I need to get some new ties from Gladrags," Hermione stated, dragging the ginger off with her. Neville went off to get some new quills, promising that he would be there in an hour.   

Moon made her way through the big crowds of school kids who chatted enthusiastically which Moon envied. She had been up all last night with one of her 'stupid' dreams, not being able to get back to sleep. 

"Mackenzie, Moon!" The French girl spun around to see who was calling her name, Lupin tried squeezing through the students to get to her, she pretended to not hear him and quickly stepped through the snow. "Moon, please talk to me. I just want to make sure your okay." Hearing that she whipped around rapidly turning to clear her watery eyes. 

"Well, I'm... I'm fine, so you can leave me alone. I wanna be alone." She whispered the last sentence trying to convince herself. She would break down the wall that kept her standing in France. 

"If you don't want to talk about what happened, then say so. Don't lie and say you're fine, hiding it won't make it go away... It's cold why don't we get a hot butterbeer." Moon hesitantly said yes, following the scar face man into Three Broomsticks she grabbed a table while he ordered the drinks. "You are a smart kid, I know that you can get through this but don't go through this alone." 

"You put so much hope into me, why? Things have clearly never worked out for me." Remus' heart broke at her words, she reminded him so much of Henry.

"Because you're your father's daughter, he did great things in his life." The mention of her father made her raise her eyes to Lupins' who was smiling cautiously at the blonde.

"You knew my father?" It was a stupid question, why make your daughter's godfather a random person. Lupin chuckled at the now keen girl, who completely forgot what they were talking about moments ago.  

"Course he was a kind of mentor, use to help me with my homework." He grinned fondly at the memory. "I also know he wouldn't have wanted his daughter going through what you did." Lupin face twisted into sympathy, Moon always has and always will hate sympathy. She wasn't some fragile doll who would fall into pieces like everyone thought, she was stronger than that, right? 

"How do you know anything about what I went through!" Moon bitterly replied, grabbing most of the customers' attention. Remus stayed calm through her whole outburst. 

"I know it was bad, otherwise that wretched woman wouldn't be your Boggart." It was true, but telling him her experience would bring it back, she's tried so hard to forget. Tears drip down her cheek, she harshly wiped them away. Crying was weak. 

"It's supposed to be over." Mackenzie breathed quietly, Lupin could just hear her. 

"You have to overcome before you forget" It was getting too deep. 

"So...um what's you Boggart?" Moon quickly change the subject hurriedly. Which made Lupin chuckle.

"Nice try, I'm here to talk, okay. I gotta talk to Harry about his Boggart. See you in class." Remus ruffled Mackenzie's hair. 

"Thanks, Remmy." She plastered a fake smile which Lupin see right through and waved goodbye as Lupin left. She made out her friends entering the bar.
