"... 19th-century German explorer Ca-" The train stopped abruptly, making everyone lurch forwards except Astreria who sat perfectly still. Moon whacked head with Ginny, making both of them sore and disoriented.

"Enfer sanglant" Moon groaned rubbing her forehead. . Neville helped Moon sit upright as she rubbed her sore head. They all slowly recovered and found their way back to their seats. Only to be unable to see each other, all the light had turned out.

"What was that?" Ginny exclaimed still groaning about her sore forehead. She pulled her wand from her inside pocket muttering 'Lumos'. Light enter the dark carriage.

"Nargels" Luna marvelled looking around dreamily.

"What are Nargels?" Neville asked but was ignored by the others who were too worried about the sudden train stop.

"It was probably the train driver, run out of coal or whatever this train runs on I'll go check." Moon pulled the very cold handle on the door open and walked out to investigate. She made her way down the small corridors avoiding some students who had the same idea as her.

Soon the sense of being dump in a bucket of cold water filled her body, goosebumps cover her arms and she could see herself breathing smoke. It was even cold to move; the teen wrapped her arms around herself trying to gain some heat. Old sad memories entered her mind and no matter how hard she tried to get rid of them and think of something happy, she couldn't. The colour drained out of her face as her expression dulled. Unknowingly she had stopped walking, taking slow and painful breathes trying to regain her cool, she couldn't break down on her first day. The bad gut feeling in her stomach grew.

A bright light from the distance had snapped her out of her trance, blinding her. The sudden brightness seemed to wash off the bad feeling. Mackenzie turned around to see Neville staring at her with the same expression she wore minutes ago.

"Neville, are you...are you okay?" Waving her hand in front of his face, the Longbottom blink a couple of times. Surprise took over his face. She was worried about him, the colour was slowly draining from his face. He looked as if he'd seen a ghost, his eyes grew wide and his mouth quivered. Moon's voice seemed to bring him back to reality where he cleared his throat and tried to play it off cool.

"Ah, yeah...yeah I'm okay." The frosty temperature left as soon as it came, the lights flickered back on. They moved a bit closer together, adjusting their eyes to the new lighting. Staying close to each other as they kept walking until the two found the golden trio's carriage. Lupin was kneeling next to a passed out Harry as Hermione and Ron sat in the corner with concerned expressions.

Harry soon woke up crying out about hearing a woman screaming, the scream was familiar to him. Lupin gave him a piece of chocolate he always kept handy, calming Harry down a bit and then left to talk to the train driver. Passing a wink when he walked by Moon and slipping her a cube of his favourite chocolate.

"You okay Harry?" Hermione asked very anxiously, still shaken from what she saw. Mackenzie sat next to Harry, digging through her pockets for any type of candy, it seemed to work when Lupin gave it to him, pulling out fudge flies, the ones that she bought from the trolley lady minutes ago she offered it to the frightened boy who took them more than willingly.

"Luna and I ate the rest of the sweets we bought, desolee."

"But didn't any of you fall off your seats?" Harry sounded embarrassed and awkward no one else had fainted, was he being overdramatic. The dementors were looking for Sirius Black, why did they attack him?

"No, no all the rest of us were fi- oww" Mackenzie was stopped when she got hit on the arm by Hermione, "Um, yeah when Neville and I were walking here we almost fell over. Might have heard a woman screaming though we weren't really paying attention, right Neville?" Moon lied trying to make Harry feel better as she itched her nose.

"Ah yeah... yeah," Neville answered rubbing the back of his neck, it seemed just like Mackenzie, he too was a terrible liar.

Harry felt so weak and was still shivering from the attack, it couldn't be from the flu he got a couple of months ago, the dementors had shaken him right to his core. His cousin wrapped an arm around him and helping the boy back to his seat. They train had started moving again and everyone had taken a seat, even Neville stayed in the carriage sitting on the other side of Mackenzie.

"So...um... how were your holidays, 'arry?" Moon asked, ringing her hands together, after everyone had settled down. Though she wrote to Harry on many occasions asking him that question he would answer with a simple 'with the Dursleys', that seemed to be the only conversation started she knew, which was entirely true, though she asked Lupin if she could buy a book to help her overcome social anxiety.

"I blew up my aunt."
