THE class was bustling with students excited about what Lupin has in store for them this lesson. Harry sat next to Moon in the middle row, he lent over Moon to talk to Ron who was in the seat next to them. They were bickering about the next quidditch match when the front doors to the class banged open to reveal a furious looking Snape. Everyone's faces contorted into confusion, while they rushed back to their seats. The whole class went silent, the room was darkened as the professor slammed the windows shut.
"Turn to page 394." The professor droned bluntly. The students slowly opened their books flicking to the right page. Harry sat unmoving overthinking what could have happened to favourite professor. The hesitant boy lens over Moon and as Snape was walking passed he asked where Lupin was. Which Harry didn't get a straight answer.
"Well, it is my business-" Moon started but was cut off but Ron.
"Werewolves?" Ron asked in shock, their class had only begun learning about hinkypunks, there was no way they were ready to learn about werewolves yet. Suddenly Hermione appeared next to Mackenzie squishing Moon between her and Harry.
"Où diable-"
"Can anyone tell me the difference between an Animagus and werewolf?" Hermione's hand shot up but was ignored by the black-haired man, but she answered anyway.
"...He'd kill his best friend if he crossed his path. Furthermore, the werewolf only responds to the call of its own kind." Hermione informed, Malfoy let out a howl impersonating a wolf causing Hermione and Moon to roll their eyes. A paper crane flow pasted the two girls into Harry's outstretched hands,
"Two rolls of parchment on the werewolf with particular emphasis..." Annoyed groans littered the classroom. Harry tried to reason with Snape but got now were with it. At the end of the period, the four left together as they were wandering out of the room Draco purposely hit Harry's shoulder as they left for lunch.
"Good luck, Potter." The blond snared with his dumb friends as they walked off.
"Merci, that was very sweet of you. I think he's going to do amazing." Moon sarcastically yelled at their retreating figures. The blonde girl snatched the paper Harry held onto the whole class, taking one look she scrunched it up getting the ball of paper to Ron. She linked arms with her cousin dragging him to the Great Hall. "I'm jealous of all the people who haven't met Malfoy, don't worry about the game, I won't let you lose even if that means getting on the field with you. Moon aided Harry of his worries.
"Yeah, I hear Gryffindor's throwing a party after." Ron grinned.
