"Good evening Miss Nightshade," hearing Moon's footsteps draw closer to him. She stopped out the front of the hospital wing. "This way Miss Nightshade, I believe you're here to see Harry." He pushed open the door placing a hand on her shoulder and leading her in. They entered spotting Harry and Hermione stand in the corner covered in multiple injuries, Ron lay on a hospital bed in the back, his leg bandaged up and resting on top of a pillow. If she wasn't worried a minute ago she differently was now. Why did she always miss everything? Hermione strutted forward.
"Headmaster, stop them. They've got the wrong man." Harry stepped forward standing in front of Moon and Dumbledore. They seemed totally freaked out, ranting about Sirius Black being innocent and Ron's rat being a ...man? "the point is, we know the truth. Please believe us." Hermione begged.
"I do Miss Granger. But the word of three or four 13-year-old wizards will not convince them... Mysterious thing, time." The professor directed his word towards the bushy-haired Gryffindor. "powerful... when meddled with, dangerous. Sirius Black is at the topmost cell of the Dark Tower. You know the law, Miss Granger. If you succeed more than one innocent life may be spared. Three turns should do it." And with that, he walked out, leaving a confused Ron and Harry and an even more bewildered Moon. They all turned to Hermione wanting an explanation.
"Sorry, Ron but seeing as you can't walk... Moon will step in." Hermione grabbed the Ravenclaws hand pulling her closer to the two.
"I'm doing what now? Can I please get an explanation?" The two Gryffindors ignore Moon and Hermione took out an odd necklace placing it around the three of them. Time stood still until everything began to move backwards. Light flooded back into the room, Hermione took the weird necklace off.
"What the hell just happened?" Mackenzie grunted running her hands through her hair.
"7:30" Hemione echoed, "where were we at 7:30?" She demanded
"I don't know Hagrid's"
Hermione sprinted through the hallways with Harry and Mack on her tail, yelling her name.
"Hermione, just wait! How is Sirius innocent? Who-what happened to Ron's rat? And why is it 7:30?" The blonde girl questioned desperately, she just wanted answers.
"Sirius is my godfather-" Harry started to explain.
"Yes, you've told me that." Mackenzie tried hurrying him along.
"Well, there's this guy, Peter Pettigrew. You've heard of him, right?" Moon nodded her head. "Yeah well his whole death was fake, he killed all those people and frame it on Sirius. They were both here in the shrieking shack, but Peter got away now the dementors kiss is going to be performed on Sirius. We have to save him." Harry grabbed her hand pulling her along.
"That's a lot of information," Still, very confused Moon went along with it turning her attention to what Harry and 'mione were looking at. Seeing Ron, Hermione and Harry completely unwounded storming up to Malfoy and him minions.
"You foul loathsome, evil, little cockroach!" The brunette scolded at the blond.
"That's us." Harry breathes in disbelief, staring at himself, Hermione quickly pushed the two cousins against the wall.
"This is a time turner, this is how I've been getting to my lessons all year."
"You mean we've gone back in time?" Confusion was written all over his face.
"Dumblydor obviously wanted us to return to this moment, what were you guys doing right now?" Moon breathed.
"Well Buckbeaks execution is soon so were with Hagrid right after I-" Hermione broke herself off when she saw her past self throw a punch at Malfoy.
"Oh snap Hermione!" Moon's mouth dropped at Hermione's actions. The older girl thanked Moon as they rushed out of the way seeing as Malfoy was coming. The past trio raced down the Hagrid's hut. Future Moon, Harry and 'mione made their way to stand behind the big rocks.
"Look Buckbeaks still alive." Harry signed in relief.
"We don't have to watch him die. Do we? Cause that's why I didn't come in the first place."
"No, because we can save him this time." Hermione declared, racing down the slope with Moon and Harry on her tail, they stumbled behind the pumpkin patch. Watching their past selves talk to Hagrid they wait for Dumbledore and the minister arrives, after some time they heard their voices they glanced over to the adults as they approached the hut. Harry rushed to grab the bird but the two girls pulled him back.
"Fudge has to see." Moon tried to explain.
"Yeah, he had to see Buckbeak before we steal him or they'll think Hagrid set him free." Hermione helped Moon. "Why are we not leaving?" Hermione muttered as she watched herself, Ron and Harry, unnoticed to the approaching adults. Thinking fast the brunette seized a stone, throwing it and breaking a jar.
"OOOOhhhh can I have a go?" Moon requested jumping at the chance. Hermione gave her a small stone with the blonde hurled at the open window striking Harry in the head.
"Ow! That hurt." The black-haired boy complained glaring at his cousin.
"Desole, I was going for Ronald." Moon smiled innocently, the Gryffindors put her behind a bundle of trees.
