it was currently the first day of july and the four are all hanging out at yamaguchi and hinata's apartment. it was a clear summer night with many stars in the sky, a cool breeze flows into the room from the open window.

hinata was wearing kageyama's sweater (which of course kageyama is still flustered about it). they were all looking at yamaguchi's phone as he was scrolling through songs and adding them to playlists.

tsukishima was sitting on the beanbag with yamaguchi sitting in between his legs. kageyama and hinata were sitting on the side, recommending songs and choosing them.

"so why are we doing this again?" tsukishima asks with a yawn after as he lays his head on yamaguchi's. staring at the bright phone screen.

it was around eleven pm and tsukishima isn't used to being tired. not because he sleeps so early but he always stays awake with coffee when doing homework or studying. but he didn't have any coffee.

yamaguchi chuckles as he continues scrolling through his phone. "shouyou and i usually make playlists with new friends we meet for fun. learning our song interests and having songs to jam off too if we ever go on road trips or something." yamaguchi replies.

"yeah, it's so fun!" hinata exclaims.

"it's also helps us all feel comfortable. we rather not blast songs that you guys wouldn't like and get bored to." yamaguchi adds, tsukishima gives a slight nod.

their playlist currently has around 15 songs, a mix of songs from the 2000-2010's (which is yamaguchi and hinata's favorite era for songs) a small mix of tsukishima's music taste which was literally anything upbeat or calming, he has an interesting and specific taste. kageyama didn't really care, he just listens to anything that pops up on the radio.

"alright, i think thats it for now. we can add on more later." yamaguchi smiles as he grabs a small speaker from a drawer and connects his phone to it.

tsukishima looks at him with concern. "aren't you going to disturb your neighbors?" he asks, earning a shrug from yamaguchi.

"shouyou and i have been doing this since the beginning of june. none of them has gone up to us like ever." he grins, he presses shuffle on the playlist and stands up stretching his legs.

one of the songs starts playing as it brightens up yamaguchi and hinata's faces.

"HECK YEAH! MY FAVORITE FIRST." hinata exclaims as he gets up to dance with yamaguchi, who was already dancing off to the song.

of course tsukishima and kageyama never heard of this song since they're more into modern music, so this was a different experience for them.

'in a few weeks, i will get time. to realize, it's right before my eyes.'

the song gave an upbeat vibe to tsukishima (which he liked). he smiled to see yamaguchi and hinata having fun dancing around to the song, kageyama was nodding his head to the song.

"oh come on! you guys aren't going to sit around for long are you?" yamaguchi pouts as he continues dancing around with hinata.

"not in the mood." the two says, making yamaguchi roll his eyes as he goes back to dancing with hinata.
