"wait what?" kageyama questions as he comes back, giving hinata a cup of water and sits down besides him.

"my dad offered us his mini van so we can go on a roadtrip if any of you guys are interested." yamaguchi explains.

tsukishima and kageyama glances at each other and back to yamaguchi.

"you sure? i mean like.. what's going to happen to the cafe? how long are we going to be gone for?" the raven-haired boy raises an eyebrow.

yamaguchi shrugs. "it's just a suggestion, i mean like we can just go on for a week to some cool places." he smiles.

"well, i can't drive anything bigger than a motorcycle." kageyama admits, making hinata laugh.

"i don't trust myself, plus, i fall asleep way too easily. so i'll definitely crash it." hinata lets out a nervous laugh.

yamaguchi rolls his eyes playfully. "that's true, in general i'm not good at driving cars."

that lead everyone to look over to tsukishima who hasn't even said anything yet. he notices them all staring as he stays quiet and lets out a heavy sigh, closing his eyes.

"i'll drive.." he mutters making the three yell out a 'yes!' throwing their fists into the air.

"wait so..." hinata's expression turns dry again as everyone turns to him. "we're actually doing it?" he asks, yamaguchi pauses and shrugs.

"only if you guys want too, i just love to go on roadtrips during the summer." he smiles, "they're just so much fun!"

hinata nods in agreement, tsukishima and kageyama glances at each other. it wouldn't hurt to go on a week long roadtrip right?

tsukishima blinks and looks back to kageyama, then to yamaguchi. "well if we're going to go on one. don't we need a plan?" yamaguchi nods with a smile.

so immediately they started planning. it was a friday night and they only had tonight and the weekend to get ready to go to who knows.

they all surrounded yamaguchi's laptop, with him in the middle of course. they looked on a map of areas all around them and where to go, areas they can afford to go to, hotels that aren't expensive, small attractions, etc.

it took most of the night, they were all dreadfully tired and fell asleep immediately when they finished planning.

in just a blink of an eye, it was morning again. this time they went to the grocery store to gather some foods and other things such as a cooler, extra tires, an air pump.

well, that was all kageyama's doing. he watched way to many horror movies that caused him to do that. tsukishima made fun of him because of it.

it was supposed to be a quick trip that would take around thirty minutes to an hour, but they got distracted.. a lot.

"SLOW DOWN!!" yamaguchi yells in laughter as tsukishima was pushing him around in a cart very, very fast.

they were having a race with kageyama and hinata, of who can race down one of the aisles the fastest.

of course they got in trouble for it, but since it was their first time making a fuss, the worker let them go, just telling them to not do it again.

though, tsukishima and yamaguchi won in the end before they got caught.

kageyama and hinata were on drink duty while tsukishima and yamaguchi were on food duty.

kageyama just wanted to buy milk, hinata scolds him of course that they needed more drinks then just milk. they got a two packages of water bottles, soda and juices, milk (for kageyama of course) and energy drinks.
