𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟕

yamaguchi squints his eyes as soon as he opens it, noticing the light was from the sun shining through the window into his face.

memories floods back to him as soon as he realized he wasn't in his room, he opens his eyes to see the hotel room he vividly remembers from last night.

he then notices everyone is still asleep, realizing tsukishima's arm is around him as he smiles to himself and buries his face into tsukishima's chest, inhaling the strawberry scent coming from him.

yamaguchi stays like that for a bit until he actually gets up. he slithers out under tsukishima's arm, the warmth leaving him, sitting up at the edge of the bed and carefully getting up so he doesn't cause any noises.

looking over at the time, he sees that it's seven twenty-two. a small sigh leaves his mouth, he goes over to his suitcase. thinking best to take a shower first before the others.

he zips the suitcase open and grabs some clothes, heading into the bathroom to take a shower.

the shower was quick, he didn't want to spend all his time in there since tsukishima or the others could've woken up and is waiting for him to finish.

shuffling could be heard from outside, yamaguchi expecting that someone has woken up. he slips on his clothes after drying himself and walks out. he turns over to see tsukishima putting on his glasses while the other two are still fast asleep.

"oh, kei!" tsukishima looks up, after putting on and adjusting his glasses.

"tadashi."

"i was in the shower, i took the chance to take one first since i woke up early." yamaguchi smiles. he then sees tsukishima getting up quietly and walks towards yamaguchi.

the next thing he knew, he was engulfed into a hug from tsukishima. "kei?"

"wake me up when you wake up, i was worried when i didn't see you there." yamaguchi giggles as he gives tsukishima a peck on his cheek.

"okay kei." tsukishima gives yamaguchi a small kiss on the forehead and goes off to take a shower next. yamaguchi goes on his phone as he sits down on the edge of the bed, scrolling through notifications.

around ten minutes has passed and tsukishima walks out, a towel wrapped around his neck as he glances over the two who were still sleeping.

"should we wake them up?" tsukishima asks. yamaguchi turns to the two and looks back at tsukishima with a shrug

"that's up to you, but hinata is a pretty heavy sleeper. maybe we should just go get breakfast and bring it back here if they wake up?" tsukishima nods in agreement as he takes off the towel from around his neck and grabbed his phone and wallet.

yamaguchi was already at the door, he wrote a small note and placed it on the nightstand earlier for kageyama and hinata to let them know that they went to get breakfast and is going to bring it back.

the two walked out, tsukishima puts a 'do not disturb' sign around the handle so the staff doesn't accidentally walk in to see kageyama and hinata sleeping. then they finally go along their way to find an area that had breakfast.

hinata's eyes flutter open, the familiar scent of blueberries hitting his nose as he looks up to see kageyama still asleep. he smiles as he gets up a stretches, getting up as he looked around, noticing that he didn't see yamaguchi and tsukishima anywhere.

he was about to call them until he saw a note sitting on the nightstand, picking it up and reading it.

kei and i went to go and get breakfast :)
