5 days later

"Baekhyunie get up! Chanyeol is waiting for you"

Baekhyun rubbed his eyes before yawning loudly. Baekhyun smiled slightly. He really missed his mother's loud yelling. His father might be off to work. When he returned to his home that day, his father for the first time cried. His father is always a strong person. That was the first time he seen his father crying.

Chanyeol became good friend for his family. His mother always teased him about chanyeol. But Baekhyun denied their relationship. Because chanyeol is his good friend.

Chanyeol comforted him in his hard time but he is still not ready for any relationship. Coming to his hometown reopened his old wounds. Every places remind him of his old school.

Sehun's memory is crashing in his mind like a tidal wave. He is trying hard to forget but it's becoming hard to him. Even his bedroom is a remainder. He and sehun would cuddle in this very bed while talking about their future. A future that is no more.

"Baekhyun you shouldn't think about him. He is no more yours"

Baekhyun gently slapped himself to divert him from those memories. He started to get ready for the day.

When he got downstairs his mother and chanyeol are chatting lively with earth other. Chanyeol is blushing while his mother is teasing him.

"What's going on here"

"Oh Baekhyunnie, i am getting details about your previous date with chanyeol"

Baekhyun blushed and looked at chanyeol who is looking at the floor.

"Mom how many times i have to tell you? Me and chanyeol are not dating"

Chanyeol looked crestfallen. His smile disappeared and replaced with hurt look. Seeing that expression Baekhyun felt a pinch in his heart.
It's like he wants to take those words back.

"Me and chanyeol are friends. And i don't to get into any relationship for now" Baekhyun told them gently.

Chanyeol abruptly stood up and leaves the place while muttering
" I will wait for you outside"

After he went away Mrs Byun placed her hands on baekhyun's shoulder

" Dear i know your past relationship with sehun didn't end well, but don't hurt chanyeol. He seemed like a good boy. He loves you so much. I can see it in his eyes. Give him a chance"

Baekhyun looked at mom with resigned eyes
" You don't know anything mom"

" I am going with chanyeol. Bye mom"

Mrs Byun looked at the direction of Baekhyun with sad look
"Take a good decision boy"

Baekhyun saw chanyeol leaning on his car with dejected face. He sighed heavily before going near him.

"Chan i want to say something"

"Talk"

Baekhyun winced when he got curt reply from him. He composed himself before talking

"Chan i know, i promised to give you a chance but i am not ready chan"

Hearing his reply chanyeol got angry. He grabbed Baekhyun and slammed him to the car.

"What the fuck you mean ' you are not ready ' ? Why can't you love me?"

Baekhyun looked scared.
' why can't chanyeol understand me?'

"Chan.. please calm down"

Chanyeol glared at him and tightened his grip, probably bruising him.
