I'm so going to be late. Today is not the day to be late. Uncle Shota told us yesterday that he had a big announcement to make this morning. Why did I wait until the last possible minute to get up?

I grab a pop tart and my water bottle and head out. Sigh. Jiro isn't waiting for me. She must have given up. I can't blame her.

I run to school as fast as I can. Call me paranoid, but it almost felt like someone was following me. Gotta be my imagination.

When I get to school, I have to stop and catch my breath before heading into class. When I slide into my seat, Kiri shakes his head and grins at me. I blush.

Uncle Shota walked in and stood in front of his desk. He looked us all over. "In a week we are going to the USJ. We will be meeting with Allmight and another facility member. This will be a training simulation."

Okay. We all looked at each other. This is exciting. A chance to test what we've learned so far.  For the rest of the week, it's hard to focus on school work. All I can think about is just what the test might be.

The weekend is a blur of gossip sessions with the girls. What kind of tests do we think we will have? Who will do the best? Who will do the worst?

Come Monday morning, I'm an excited, nervous wreck. I got to school a little early today. We're all nervously chattering, waiting to leave. Uncle Shota comes in and tells us it's time to board the bus. It's a short drive, but I always enjoy seeing the city.

I overheard conversations about who's got the better quirk, Todoroki and Bakugo. Kiri said "I don't think mines that great I wish I had something flashier." I say "you do have a really cool quirk though" he smiles I smile back. Maybe one day, mine might be in the running for best quirk.

When we arrive at the building, I can't help but stare. It's a big colloseum. Wow, this is so cool. I anxiously await my turn getting off the bus.

When we walk in the big blue gate, I take a deep breath. There is so much! A city in ruins, a landslide, a rocky mountain, and a flooded area. But the one that caught my attention. The one that made me lose my breath and feel light headed was the building on fire. No, no, no.

In my mind, I can see a figure in a doorway, surrounded by blue flames. I can hear my sister screaming for help. I look over at Kiri and see him staring at me wide eyed. And that's the last thing I see before I fainted.
