This is FBI Special Agent G. Wiles interviewing Mr. Brandon Jones at the Headquarters of the Archangel Sheriff's Department. The date is 11/11/2020, the time is 0450.
BRANDON JONES
And I am Brandon Jones, recording this interrogation on my own recording equipment at the aforementioned date and time.
FBI SPECIAL AGENT G. WILES
As I said before, Mr. Jones, this is an interview, not an interrogation.
BRANDON JONES
I'm sure that's what you guys told Oswald right up until you pinned Kennedy's murder on him.
FBI SPECIAL AGENT G. WILES
Mr. Jones, it is very late, and I am very tired, so in the interest of going home at some point in the next few hours I'd appreciate it if you abstained from theatrics.
BRANDON JONES
There's nothing theatrical about seeking the truth.
FBI SPECIAL AGENT G. WILES
Just state the events of the evening prior to your being taken into custody at Mr. Abramov's property.
BRANDON JONES
I don't understand why I'm even being held. If it wasn't for me and Sean stopping those right wing nutjobs, you'd be dealing with a murder right now.
FBI SPECIAL AGENT G. WILES
When you say 'right wing nutjobs' I assume you mean the Sons of Liberty?
BRANDON JONES
You know I do. Those guys were plotting a murder. It's them you should be talking to, not me.
FBI SPECIAL AGENT G. WILES
Why did you decide to jump over the fence and trespass onto Mr. Abramov's property?
BRANDON JONES
How do you know about–oh, I get it. That drone we saw was yours. Why were you watching Ray's house?
FBI SPECIAL AGENT G. WILES
Please answer the question, Mr. Jones.
BRANDON JONES
We only jumped the fence because his security blew us off when we tried to warn them about the Sons of Liberty coming to kill Ray.
FBI SPECIAL AGENT G. WILES
Did it occur to you that you should contact the authorities?
BRANDON JONES
We didn't know the FBI was watching Ray's house.
FBI SPECIAL AGENT G. WILES
Why didn't you call the local police?
BRANDON JONES
I couldn't trust them to do their jobs.
