We parted ways with Dave not long after the interview. He was eager to leave, which I understood seeing as he'd probably shattered a thousand corporate non-disclosure agreements just by being in the same room with us and the recording equipment. Plus, if even half the things he'd told us were true, then TARN wasn't just another ruthless defense contractor who disappeared protestors when it suited them, they were a god damned powerhouse of evil.

(Groans) Jesus, ok, we're here in a booth at the Double Dog Diner in Archangel. It's a bit before 2100 hours–
SEAN O'CONNOR
9 o'clock
BRANDON JONES
(long pause) Huh?
SEAN O'CONNOR
You said 2100 hours, but you should just say 9 o'clock.
BRANDON JONES
Why does that matter?
SEAN O'CONNOR
Because unless your target demographic are survivalists who use military time, then you should use the same time system as the entire North American continent.
BRANDON JONES
Christ on a crutch. Fine. It's 9 o'clock. We're in the Double Dog Diner near the high school–
PENNY
Good evening fellas.

PENNY

PENNY
