Chapter 11

I pull on my thick black coat and my white scarf and take Ed's hand as we enter the elevator. It descends and I see Ed nervously grip his suitcase.
"You okay?" I ask him. He nods. We decided to make the most out of the little time we had left to spend together while he's still here in New York and I stayed the night at his place. Yeah yeah, I know, scandalous. Anyway, after a quick phone call with Katlyne it has been confirmed that our managements want us to make appearances together now that the press know we are kind of a thing. So me going to the airport with him should look very good.
We get down to the lobby and walk out into the flashing cameras and yelling paparazzi. It takes a lot of security pushing and shoving till we get to the Kia SUV waiting to take us to the airport. And when we arrive there's even more flashing cameras. He boards his plane at 10:30 and I'm needed at the set of my movie by 12. I want this to be a quick goodbye. Yes I will miss him but I need to focus and I want him away from me. Distance will keep him safe from lurking vampires. He takes my hand as the flight attendants call his flight.
"I will miss you."
"I'll miss you too. But try enjoy yourself honey, it's your time to relax"
"Skyler there's something I need to ask you." I burrow my eyebrows.
"Yeah?"
"Will you be my girlfriend?" I gasp as he pulls out a small box from his pocket. I open it to find a beautiful necklace. I cover my mouth with my hand and nod my head.
"Of course I will Ed" I can hear cameras clicking, taking photos of the moment. We hug and he gives me a kiss goodbye and then he's gone. He's gone but he's safe.
And then it's back to my apartment where Cameron is waiting for me.

"So, you and Ed sheeran aye?" Cameron says when I sit on the couch beside him.
"Yes. It's working nicely" I reply.
"Very nicely I can see" I roll my eyes and stand up to grab an apple from the fridge. It's 11:20am and I need,desperately need, another intake of blood. It's been way too long. So I grab my apple, and leave my apartment and go down to the park to get some blood. Then I head down to my movie set.

"Miss Harrison. Mr Ross is in his office, waiting for you." I stand up from my seat in my dressing room trailer and step onto the set. Kitty trails behind me fixing my hair while Katlyne tells me hers and managements plans. I have two security guards on either side of me. It's very crowded. I walk into Gary's office and my little trio stands outside the door. Except Katlyne. Katlyne goes everywhere with me. I wouldn't be surprised if I woke up next to Ed one day and she was standing at the end of the bed taking notes the crazy women.
"Skyler, baby, sit down." Gary says. I sit and Katlyne stands behind me. "Now, Skyler, there's been a huge change of plans. We are moving to the new set earlier than expected, but we haven't finished setting it up. It's going to take about a month to get it ready so you, my lucky actress, get a month off while we prepare your movie set." He smiles at me and I grin back. A whole month off! I could go back to New Zealand or maybe visit Rome again, or Paris, or-
"Well back to England with you it is." I turn my head to Katlyne.
"What?" I say.
"You're going to England. For your month off. Ed is there, it will be good publicity if you go with him."
"That's not your choice Katlyne." I say. Wrong.move.
"I'm sorry?"
"Apology not accepted. I'm going on vacation not back to dreary old England."
"You were complaining the other day that you miss your kodseg"
"Koenigsegg Katylne. It's a koenigsegg"
"So you can go back to London, drive round in your nice car, with Ed Sheeran."
"But-"
"But nothing. It's England or England and a broken leg."
"I will tell Joe you threatened to break my leg!"
"C'mon Skyler, we are leaving. Thank you Gary" I roll my eyes and stand up.
"Thank you" I mumble as I walk out and back to my car. The want to rip out katlyne's throat with my teeth is very strong. Oh my gosh...that's an intense thought...weird.

I drive back to my apartment and start packing my things. I explain to Cameron that I'm going back to England for a month. He's going to come with me.
"That's good Skyler. If you're over there, it will be harder for him to get you." He says referring to the crazy vamp.
"It would be harder if I was in Rome." He pauses for a moment then changes the subject.
"Can I drive your koenigsegg?"
"Hell no!"
"What!! Why?!"
"You could not handle that car you idiot"
"And you can?"
"Jeremy clarkson is my mums brother. Of course I can handle that car." The thought of my family brings tears to my eyes. My parents died when I was little and I was raised by Jeremy till I left the house at 16 when I met James. I haven't seen Jeremy since, only heard from him a couple times. He taught me how to drive. Hence all the nice cars.
"You can drive my McLaren P1" he sighs.
"Okay fine."
I call Ed and tell him I'm going to England. Katlyne booked us all a jet. It's set to leave in a few hours. Katlyne must of had to pull a few strings to make it happen. So with our stuff packed we head back to the airport. I miss my cars dearly, but going to England means Ed will be in danger again. I will never forgive myself if something happens to him.
"Cameron, because you have two vampires you're sired to, since there's like that weird bond sort of thing we have, isn't it exhausting for you."
"No, that's the thing you see, I'm not bonded to either of you anymore. He is bonded to you now. So all those evil thoughts he thinks your going to start feeling...."
"You're only telling me this now?!"
"I didn't want you to hate me more than you already did!"
"You're a bitch Cameron."
"Did you just call me a-"
"Yes I did, and don't think you are going to be eating those chips in here." I say referring to the potato chips he just pulled out.
"This is a Merc S-class you idiot. Don't be eating in here."

Okay okay I know, there ain't much action but just you wait people! Anyways, I have got almost 500 reads (YAY) and to celebrate I'm doing a competition.
