It had been a week. Draco and i had detention every day other than weekends so i saw him a lot.

I hadn't yet seen Cedric or spoke to him for that matter. It was killing me, it felt like summer all over again.

I walked quite slowly to potions really not in the mood to concentrate. By the time I had arrived into the classroom, Hermione was already sitting preparing herself for the lesson, Crabbe and goyle were laughing about some potion -i think at least, you never know with these two-, and a couple ravenclaws were talking in a circle.

Class hadn't started. I was either early early or just earlier than the late kids.

I had no classes with hufflepuffs this year which made it harder to see Cedric, he wouldn't have been in my class as he's two years older than i am but he always met up with my year's hufflepuffs, so i could at least say hi.

I took my seat as Snape walked through a door i hadn't noticed. He seemed impressed to see me so on time.

Any conversation that had occurred before his entrance had now stopped and Snape began explaining our lesson.

I wasn't paying serious attention, occasionally looking at the people speaking but not really listening to what they were saying.

Potions was always a bore and not just to me, even the ravenclaws seemed to be tired of the whole class, which says a lot.

Hermione answered a few questions then she suddenly turned to me, "Ready?" with a smile on her face. "Yea sure." i said, trying to sound as confident as possible,"what exactly are we doing anyways?" looking up at her, completely confused and disorganized.

"just wait." She huffed in disapproval, turning back toward her books and then the cauldrons.

I wasn't going to distract her, this is usually how the lessons ended up anyways. Book worm did the work, i got the grades and we didn't really mind...

Within a minute after our conversation, a tall silhouette burst through the door.

The entire class turned towards the boy, in need for some amusement from this lesson.

An only slight visible smirk ran across the face at all the attention they was receiving from their entrance.

i knew exactly who it was.

i knew that stupid smirk anywhere. He soon walked into the light, easily recognizable now. "Ah Mr Malfoy, so kind of you to join us. Take your seat" Snape said.

Draco followed said directions, his grin still covering his face. He sat down locking eyes with me. "Got a staring problem l/n?" He said through his smile.

I rolled my eyes. I went back to Hermione, she was still doing her thing, being smart and all.

After a few minutes of Granger's tedious work went by, a sudden scent of Malfoy passed by me. He smelt expensive, but a good expensive.

"Malfoy. how much cologne did you put on today? Are you trying to kill us?" i yelled in seek of a an embarrassed Draco Malfoy.

Laughter filled the room. At first i thought they were laughing at Draco but everyone was looking at me, laughing AT me. I looked at Hermione for some sort of reassurance, her clearly seeing the confusion in my eyes.

"y/n, we are making amortentia."she whispered, causing me go all red. I didnt say anything, i felt my soul drop.

Shit. Shit. Shit. I'm ATTRACTED TO DRACO MALFOY-

Professor Snape cut me off of my own thoughts. "Ms l/n is there a problem? And if so would you kindly share it with the class."

I looked at him and then to Draco... who was confused as to why i was the one being laughed at, but then Blaise had informed him of todays project. A wider grin grew on his face.

"No sir. sorry." I said back quietly, and quickly going back into my own thoughts. I sat completely in awe of my words. I could feel Hermione's awkward assurance and the whole classes disbelief.

Hermione didn't bother me for the entirety of the rest of the lesson, knowing i probably didn't want to participate, especially now.

The class took years to end, but eventually i heard the sounds of screeching chairs and murmuring from students. Everyone leaving class with relief in their eyes as it was the only lesson of the day.

Slight laughter filled the room as people looked at me. Hermione tried to awkwardly cheer me up but i shrugged her off, grabbed my bag and left the classroom with haste.

I ran up and down in passages and corridors, quite full from the students... until i found an empty, small, abandoned corridor.

i began to slow down once i was alone. A huge window lie in front of me. i sat in it and looked towards the outside.

Everyone sitting and talking, laughing and smiling outside. I couldn't help but admire the atmosphere. I took my mind off of earlier.

A sense of warmth came rushing through my body as i saw Cedric. He was with Cho.

Cho's lovely really.

He really likes her.

He deserves to be happy, a noble king deserves his rightful queen.

The embarrassment never left me but the easiest way to forget was to read. Reading was something i only did alone when i was stressed, or in need to lose myself.

I put my head in the book and began to slowly drift off into the world of the pages.

"A lady's imagination is very rapid; it jumps from admiration to love, from love to matrimony in a moment! i read.

The Pride and Prejudice, a book Hermione suggested i read.

She had noticed me reading in the library around a month ago. I was reading the Notebook at the time, i love a good romance book.

There is always something about romance that makes me feel so alive. Even though slytherins are usually supposed to hate Gryffindors, Granger really wasn't so bad.

I heard a laugh come from over the top of my book. Without a second to look up, a hand latched onto my waist and my book was now in the other hand of none other than Malfoy.

"So someone's got a crush...." he joked before it pulling me down from the window.

"Fuck off Malfoy." I snarled before trying to find something else to say.

"I always knew you liked me, so this was just the icing on the cake!" He mocked. I wanted to push him against the wall, show all the power i had in me and punch him in the face like i had on the first day but as i tried to he stood his ground.

Not moving. He was way stronger than i was now that he was near enough 6' foot and his body had matured a great deal.

My mind was spinning, "you flatter yourself too much Malfoy. I was only messing with you"

I looked back at the blonde. He smile widened, I tried to push him off me but failed that as well. Instead of taking a step back, he came closer to me.

Now leaving little to no space between us. He tilted my chin up with his cold hands which were once around my waist. "You sure?" he said in a low voice.

My heart rate increased, the heat in between my legs growing.

I looked up at him. His face only inches away from mine. "Never been so sure of anything else in my life." I whispered.

"We'll see about that." His breathe brushed alongside my ear. Confusion ran through my head. He grabbed my arm pulling me away.
