Draco's arm was still snaked across my waist from the night before. His warm huffs repeatedly hitting the back of my neck leaving me with goosebumps arriving on different parts of my body.
I turned over to look up at the ceiling, slowly and quietly, I did not want to wake him up, as he seemed so... calm.
I had no urge to check the time for i did not care, I knew it was Saturday and I couldn't hear a thing from the boys corridor so it was probably early.
Whilst caught in my own thoughts, a hand grabs harder into the skin on my waist. "Good Morning, bub" Draco mumbled in his groggy morning voice.
I turned to him and smiled. His hair was a mess, his blonde curtains where now bangs and towards the back of his head was ruffled. He didn't bother pushing it back as it would just go back into its blonde jungle looking state.
"morning" i whispered. His smell of expensive cologne seemed very strong as it rushed through my airways, causing my entire body to move closer into his chest reaching for more.
"What shall we do today?" He asked with slight sarcasm attached to his words. I just smiled at him, before getting up out of bed.
"You cannot possibly be mad at me, especially after last night." He said as i gave him no response from his last question. I didn't want him to feel like he had enough power to control my plans, so i thought of the first thing that came to mind.
"Pansy asked me to go to Hogsmeade with her." I made up.
"l/n, busy? unheard of" He snickered as he scanned up and down my body. I rolled my eyes, I grabbed my bags and headed for the door.
"Oh and y/n." Draco shouted. I rotated my body to look back at him, lazily laying down on the bed, his torso showing from underneath the duvet.
"Yes?" I said trying my best to sound irritated at the amount of words that passed by his lips at such an unholy hour.
"I'm not a violent man, but if she lays a finger on you, she'll know about it." He says, turning over and going back to bed.
I roll my eyes at his now bare back, give out a little chuckle and silently make my way out of the room, my legs trembling and aching from the evenings events.
As i entered my room, Pansy was sitting on a chair in the corner. She seemed to be day-dreaming. She caught sight of me and turned away.
It felt right to ruffle her feathers for a while. "You know Pans. We can still be friends." I exclaimed as i had noticed her lack of attention towards my entrance.
She suddenly snapped her head in my direction, narrowing her eyes as the locked onto mine. "I'm not friends with liars." Pansy barked back.
"But you told everyone i tried to kiss you, and we both know that's not true...funny isn't it Parkinson."
Pansy seemed shocked at my words and quickly tried to change the subject. "Where were you?"
"I was... reading... on the couches in the common room." I lied.
"All night? You simply sat there... all night?" She questioned
"Your not saying you missed me, are you?" I joked. She rolled her eyes.
"Missed you, yea sure." She let a smile tug away at her lips. "I guess we could be friends." She got up and stuck out her hand. I took it respectfully. At that moment i thought of Draco.
His hands-. I also remembered the lie i told him. "Let's go to Hogsmeade today, i'm sure they've got something we can do... That is if you are not busy."
"I'd love too." She smiled brightly. A sudden spark flew into her eyes. "As friends." she added.
"As friends" i repeated.
-------------
We arrived at Hogsmeade. The cold air seeping into our lungs. Pansy seemed way to excited, but managed to contain herself, i'm going to guess she didn't want to embarrass herself again.
"Can we go to Gladrags Wizard wear?" Pansy squealed. I'm not a massive fan of shopping. I can agree that i enjoy fashion, but for some reason Pansy put me off of it.
Nowadays, we can use muggle technology that delivers all the clothes i need to home, no magic needed. I also was not in the mood for Pansy Parkinson's whines so I nodded my head and sighed as she dragged me away.
As soon as we arrived, Pansy ran up and down the store, admiring the clothes she already had as she came in here a lot.
"What about this?" She says as she hands me a grey turtle neck. "Pansy, have you seen your wardrobe, you've got like eight of those!" I say.
She seemed unimpressed but then we laughed it off. "What about you? you don't have one and don't lie and tell me you do, I know you don't. Your wardrobe is minuscule." Parkinson stated.
I simply rolled my eyes playfully and looked at the skirts and gowns on sale. "Never thought you would be a dressy kind of girl, y/n" Pansy giggled.
I turned and looked right into her eyes. I moved closer into her, making our faces less then 3 inches apart. "I can surprise people, Parkinson." I smiled and went to sit on the chair behind her.
Brushing past her and making her lose balance.
She turned to me as i sat down. I began playing with my knuckles, patiently waiting for her to pick out something.
I could feel the stares from beyond my eyelashes, without looking up, i pleaded "Don't let me distract you from you fashion obsession" I heard a scoff and then a rustling of clothes, i chuckled to myself.
We were in that store for what felt like hours. We both were starving so we stopped by the 'Hogs Head' as 'The three broomsticks' was full for something to eat.
She only really talked about herself, and when i said something she would always have a 'fun' story that i had just reminded her about.
I tried my best to act entertained by using a lot of, 'oh's' and 'hmm's'. She seemed more and more confident by the variation of my hums.
Eventually. No. Finally, the day was up.
We spoke the entire way home. Correction: She spoke the entire way home. We walked through the castle and then the common room.
She decided it was time to go to bed, leaving with a smile on her face. "Thanks for today, y/n. It was quite a fun day."
She practically belted so the entire common room could hear. Don't get me wrong, Pugface is annoying, butttttttt she wasn't that bad.
Yes, she made me sit in a shop for hours, just to tell her she has the dress at home.
Yes, she talked A LOT.
Yes, she bitched about everyone.
But other than that, she was pretty ok? Draco slipped into my mind once or twice but nothing more today.
Pansy was a acceptable distraction and maybe even a cool person.
Pansy headed up to bed with basically the rest of the students in the common room. I didn't want to go up just yet. I wanted to sit down for a while and just think, no snoring from pansy just the crackling of the fireplace.
I sat on the leather couches looking up through the windows and into the moonlit lake. I have always been jealous of those who live in the lake. They get to enjoy nights like these all the time. peace and quiet.
Without another thought a loud whisper spoke from behind me. "How was your date?"
