Ivy was barely down the road when the sound of screeching tires stopped right behind her making her jump to the side walk in surprise.
'Where have you been!' Tony's deep voice boomed in the quiet neighbourhood as he slammed the car door. 'I have been looking for you everywhere.'
Ivy instinctively gathered her feeble legs and started running down the road without looking back. Tony was angry, so angry that he came looking for her, something he had never done on the numerous occasions he had ditched her somewhere and she was shaking with fear on what he might do to her.
'What the fúck Ivy.' He groaned sounding much closer to her even though she was still trying to run faster but her legs weren't cooperating. Suddenly she felt someone grab her shoulders tightly before roughly turning her around. Tony gave her a hard look and she tightly closed her eyes in fear.
'Why were you running away?' He snapped shaking her shoulders roughly, a strong smell of marijuana hitting her. 'Where have you been for almost three hours? Look at me!' Ivy shook her head no without opening her eyes.
'Y-You are going to h-hurt me.' She mumbled tightening her eyes even more. She could feel Tony tense before her loosened his grip on her.
'You are scared of me? I can understand why but I didn't come looking for you so that I can hurt you. I was worried and felt bad for leaving you out there.' He sighed letting her go as he took a step back. Ivy slowly opened her eyes in disbelief.
'Y-You were worried?' She hesitantly asked not believing what he was saying. Tony had never cared about her in a very long time. Must have been the drugs messing with his head she concluded.
'Come on. Lets go home.' He said, his hand almost reaching for hers before he thought better of it and started heading back to the car, Ivy took cautious steps behind his as if waiting for the punch line where he would turn and scold her but it never happened.
'I'm sorry I have been such a bad brother. It's just that since the accident you changed so much and you started retreating to this shell, blocking me from your life and I felt really bad because I loved you so much and I still do.' Tony confessed, breaking the silence that had enveloped in the car since they started driving home. Ivy knew he was high but also honest.
'I'm sorry.' She murmured before placing her hand on his thigh comfortingly and surprisingly Tony brought his hand on top of her and squeezed it lightly giving her a genuine smile before turning to the road.
Ivy could feel that things between them were about to change for the better and it made her heart beat accelerate in anticipation.

__________'I don't think it's Alice.' Andrew Vasseur frowned looking at the letter Henry had showed them.
'Yeah dude. She's like super open and all. Not the creepy secret admirer kind.' Kyle West chucked snatching the letter from Andrew and checking the writing. 'Plus her writing is not so horrible, looks like a kid wrote it! Even my dog can write better, I'm even surprised you read past the first sentence.' Andrew rolled his eyes turning to Henry.
'Hate to say this but Kyle is right, the writing is from a low self esteemed person. Look at how they bend their letters as if they lack confidence in what they are writing.' Henry nodded agreeing with Andrew who was the rational one of the two. Kyle was the joker and he wouldn't trust what he said.
'Yeah. I also thought about it all night and there is a 50-50 percent chance that it isn't Alice. Like she already told me how much she likes me -'
'And it's obvious from how she follows your ass around.' Kyle smirked earning a hit from Andrew. 'It's true.' He protested but both guys ignored him.
