The person before me was nothing more than a shell of the man I fell in love with. His once golden eyes had dulled to a burnt gold and sunken back into his head. His long flowing golden hair had become thin and flat. He bent over in his chair as if under the stress of a tremendous weight. He looked so frail and beaten.
My hand shook immensely as I cautiously reached out to touch his pale cheek. It was like approaching a wounded wild animal.
"Alucard?..." I felt as if my voice was going to break at any second. "My love come back to me"
Alucard continued to stare at the floor as if he didn't even notice my presence. I am nothing more than a ghost, a whisp on the wind bringing a faint familiar smell of his past.
Then I hear it, like a rainbow in a fucken hurricane. "Charlie?..." his golden voice is raspy and low like it had not been used in a very long time. His head raises for a moment before dropping back to his chest. "No Charlie left me. She is not coming back."
In that moment I think my heart might shatter into a thousand pieces. My fingers gently caressed his cheek. He never acknowledges my touch to him; it is nothing more than a whisper of a ghost.
A devilish smile pulls at the corner of my lips, fine if he thinks I'm a ghost I'll just have to show him what's really. I gently run fingers down his cheek to rest understand his chin lifting it up until our noses are almost touching. His eyes remain closed as I slowly close the gap between the two of us.
It was like a lighting strike when our lips touched. At first he made no response to the touch but suddenly I became aware of a thin boney hand brushing threw my short hair and down to the back of my neck. His touch left a trail of tingles in their wake. I can't help the smile that spreads across my face. His touch was heaven, the pain and aching of the fight with Seb melted away in that moment leaving only him. Somehow I ended up kneeling in his lap hungrily making out with the half vampire. My high emotions caused an uncontrolled shift into my half form.
Slowly leaving his mouth I kissed his cheekbones and jawline leaving a trail as I made my way to his neck. Gauging every small reaction I pulled from him, the way his legs moved slightly when I dragged my sharp teeth along his exposed throat or the small moans that escaped his lips when I bit down into the soft spot below his ear gently sucking a line of purple marks.
Gently pulling away I moved up to his ear softly whispering "Hello sweetie."
