"You ready to do this?" Ashley asked as you pulled up to the piercing studio.

"Y-Yeah" you bit your lip, both of you got out of the car.

Ashley opened the door for you, you walked inside.

You got distracted by all of the rings and other jewelry as Ashley told the guy that would be piercing your ears what was going on.

Today you were getting your cartilages pierced.

You were very nervous, you didn't know why.

You'd gotten your earlobes pierced when you were younger, and you weren't nervous at all.

But now, you were more nervous than ever.

Ashley hadn't picked that up yet, but he would soon.

You wanted your ears pierced, nothing else.

You never liked facial piercings, Ashley understood that.

"Y/N" Ashley called your name, breaking you from your thoughts.

"Hmm?" You looked at him

"You ready?"

You nodded, going over to the chair next to the guy that would be piercing your ears.

You bit your lip again, your eyes traveled to Ashley's hands.

He took note of that, reaching your to grab your left hand.

"You'll be fine, babe" he nodded, giving your hand a squeeze.

"Hi, Y/N I'm Adam. I'll be piercing your cartilages, correct?" The guy asked.

"Yes" you said quietly.

"I promise, it won't be as bad as it seems" Adam nodded, getting everything ready.

"Y/N, you're okay. You'll be fine" Ashley chuckled, rubbing your arm.

You said nothing, still terrified.

"Alright, I'm going to count to three..." Adam trailed, getting ready to pierce your right cartilage.

"Y/N look at me, babe" Ashley instructed.

You obeyed, looking right into Ashley's eyes.

Immediately relaxing, you barley felt the needle go through your ear.

"Great! Now for your left" Adam nodded, Ashley moved to your right side.

"You did good" he smiled, kissing your cheek.

You felt a bit odd, having to be treated like this. But your fear was understandable.

You repeated the same actions, staring into Ashley's eyes as Adam pierced your left cartilage.

"Alright, you're done" Adam nodded.

"Yeah!" Ashley cheered, playfully shaking you by your shoulders.

You smiled, looking down at your lap.

Adam gave you instructions on how to go by taking care of your new piercings.

You and Ashley thanked him after, then left the studio.

"Let me see" Ashley said, turning your right ear towards him, then your left.

"How do they look?" You asked.

"They look good" Ashely nodded, now making you face him.

"I love you, and I'm proud" he smiled, leaning in to kiss you.

"I love you too" you said against his lips.

"Mhm...let's go home now" he said, both of you getting in the car.
