The Masked Woman

A/N: I don't know if anyone has caught on, but this story was inspired by the TV series Merlin. The main ships at the moment are Kallura, I'sm not sure what other ships to include. However like in Merlin, it took a while for Gwen and Arthur to get together and they each had their own love intrest before each other, so I may put in Axca and Lotor as love interests for Keith and Allura. Anyway, if you have any other ships you want to see comment them below.

It was the same night Romelle and Griffin fell victim to the poison of a cat. The woman responsible  disappeared into the night. She fled the kingdom by heading into a dark and narrow road. Her cape dragged across the floor finally she stopped in front of a pool on water. From behind her emerged four shadows each person wearing the same rustic purple cape as her. From the pool of water rose a mirror shaped spiral of water in it another who wore the same cloak. Her face somewhat visible. Purple with yellow eyes.

"Have you failed?" The woman in the mirror asked. The original masked woman began to speak.

"It was weird. No impossible. It should have been impossible." The masked woman said.

"What should have?" The mirror woman said.

"There was a knight, with great hair. He, he intervened with my assault on the princess."

"Get to it Ezor." Another cloaked figure said.

"Your cat bit him, but he wasn't fazed by it. The other human fell to his knees, but not this child. He, he kept fighting like he was immune."

"How's that possible? Even if he is human he should have at least been in some form of agony." Another cloaked figure said.

"You're right Axca. This knight is special. Perhaps he's the child of prophecy." The mirrored lady said, "Ezor, return, watch this knight. Azca, go with her. We must confirm whether this child is the child of prophecy. If so, he may be of service to us." The mirrored woman said before the water spiral became one with the water pool again.

Keith's POV

I woke up the next morning from only 4 hours of sleep. I stayed up all night until Sam perfected a cure. Although it wouldn't cure Griffin and Romelle right away, it would help their immune systems fight off the poison. With that news Lance volunteered to take the first watch. That was four hours ago. The knights schedule is easy. Allura, Romelle, and Coran have two knights. Originally, Allura had one but for her safety she now has two. Anyway, I will continue to guard Allura during the day and will rotate with Lance to make up for our lack of sleep since he will be taking the night shift.

I put on my everyday armor along with the blood red cape. It was time for the morning patrol of the lions. Since Lance has been up for 24 hours I decided it'd be best if he skipped patrol. Pidge, Hunk, and I would do morning patrol. Before we headed off I couldn't help but look at Shiro's empty hanger. It's been weeks, Coran said his mission is taking longer but, I feel something else is wrong.

Since Shiro is gone, I'm his successor. On patrol, I patrol the Black Lions zone as well as the Red Lions zone. Today since Lance is out, Pidge will patrol the blue lions zone. Once we do that we will all meet in the great hall to discuss what lies ahead.

*During Patrol, No One's POV

"Coast and forest plains clear." Pidge said over the com links.

"The canyons and merchant trails are clear too." Hunk said.

"Same with the central plains and lower towns." Keith said.

"Great, I'm hungry. Can we stop by the castle's kitchen. I didn't eat breakfast." Hunk said.
