You started walking but you couldn't ignore the awkward silence.
Since when could a walk with Iwaizumi get awkward? You had plenty of silences but it never was awkward.
"How are you feeling?" He suddenly asked.
"I'm excited. Are you going to watch us?"
"Of course. Everyone will. This could be your change. Just two more matches to win and you're going to nationals!" He said.
You chuckled. "Yeah. I hope we'll win."
Just when the awkwardness broke a certain voice called behind you.
"Iwa-chaaaan!! Wait!"
The two of you growled in annoyance and none of you waited.
"You're so mean Iwa-chan!" He said when he approached you.
"I'll go to the coffee shop. See ya la-"
"You have no time for that, (L/N). Your bus will probably leave as soon as everyone arrives." Iwaizumi cut you off.
"I know that you don't want to walk with him but don't make an unnecessary detour."

"Why are you even here? You used to leave earlier." Iwaizumi asked Oikawa.
"Ah, I overslept my alarm." Oikawa scratched the back of his head and smiled.
"Dumbass."
Now it was like the old times. The three of you were walking together to school.
Thinking back gave you a warm feeling inside your heart. You missed those days.
"The bus is there already." You said as you were approaching Seijoh.
"I can hear your heartbeat." Iwaizumi chuckled.
