Training

-Matthews Pov-

We learned as much as we could from our mentor before we got to the capital. Right before I heard Allie say we're here I looked at Ella. I missed her so much, I should have fought for her or at least something. It's all my fault.

"We are here, now look happy. Lots of smiling" and with that we left the train and was greeted with thousands of people, all in weird clothing.
"Look at them" I whisper to Ella
" don't make fun of them." She hissed at me

"Hey it's just different I wasn't making fun" I laughed and I saw her smile.

-time skip-

"Here we are, this is where we will be staying until the games" Allie smiled as she turned to us and said that.
"Um where's my room" I question
" down that hall and to the right." She walked into the kitchen
" okay then I'm going to check it out, wanna come Ella?"

"Sure" she was beautiful, her smile.
We ran to my room first
"Whoa, this is huge." I was shocked
"It's cool. I swear if my room is all girly." She walked to her room and opened the door. It was a green room kinda like mine but hers had a screen.
"Lucky" I grab some sort of remote, when I turned it on, it wasn't pretty.
"Close the door, quickly Matt." I ran closing the door

The screen it had pictures of district 13. And I saw something.
"Can you zoom in?" I asked and she did. I took the remote
"Look" I pointed to where I was looking. A person.

Ella's Pov
"Look" Matt pointed at something.
"Is that a person?.." The room filled with silence until a knock was on the door.
" Ella, Matthew? Dinner is ready." It's was Allie.
" okay" Matt screamed while turning the screen off.
"Just forget about it, this happen over 84 years ago. No way people could live...there"

"Your right Matt, race ya." I started running to the table and accidentally hit Ashley causing her to fall.
"IM SO SORRY" I helped her get up
"I'm so sorry too that Ella was running" Matt said jokingly, I shot him an angry look

"Look I'm fine, no harm done, it's okay" Ashley laughed, I smile and sit down at the fancy table
"Why is all this food look fancy?" Everyone looked at me
"Well it's the best for you both" Allie says "tomorrow morning you are meeting your stylists for the tribute parade."

" I hope we don't look like giant balloons" I say under my breath, Matt starts bursting out laughing, crap he heard me.
"That is so true." He is still laughing
"I'm going to sleep" I get up and start walking back until Matt grabs my arm
"Can I steal your room?" I looked at him confused

"Why"
"I want to see the photos and I don't have a screen, please you can lay in my room until I'm done." He wanted to so bad I could see in his eyes.
"Fine. But I need to change first." I know I'm gonna regret this. I quickly change and hand him the remote as I leave
"Have fun." I close the door.
I go into his room before anyone saw me and jump into his bed but I see something on his dresser. I go to it. It's a small photo of us together when we were in 4th grade. Why would he keep this?

At two in the morning I heard something fall in my room waking me up and run whipping the door open to see him on the ground.
"WHAT HAPPEN!" I scream I think I woke someone up so I run to the door and close it

"I don't know I just fell of he bed." He looked tired
"Did you fall asleep?" I realized what happened, he shook his head yes. I help him up.
"Go to your room Matthew" we both turn to see Ashley standing at the door. I didn't hear it open. And he looked at me and walked to his room. I whispered I'm sorry.

"ELLA WAKE UP" I heard a voice say
"Alex?" I asked the person not opening my eyes
