BEGONIA
connection, beware

In the nearly two-months since the start of the school year, Hogwarts has definitely not been uneventful.

Harry had—after a reckless act to retrieve Neville's Remembrall from Draco during their first Flying class—become the youngest Seeker for Gryffindor's Quidditch team in a century, and a week later, the Granger twins celebrated their twelfth birthday by having a picnic by the Black Lake with Adelaide.

[Whenever Hermione questions where the two Hufflepuffs got the food from, they simply glance at each other with mischievous smiles before shaking their heads.]

The Granger twins are always wearing the matching silver charm bracelets their parents sent them, Hermione has already finished Marauding with Monsters by Gilderoy Lockhart—a book she'd been eyeing up while they got their school books—that she received from Andromache, while Andromache still carefully studies the book—Charms of Defence and Deterrence by Catullus Spangle—Hermione gave her, and both twins have already finished the assortment of sweets they got from Adelaide.

Oh—and there's the matter of Hermione, Ron, and Harry stumbling across the out-of-bounds corridor on the third-floor and discovering a gigantic three-headed dog guarding a trap-door when they got lost on the moving staircases.

[When Hermione had described the dog with vivid detail to the Hufflepuffs as they ate by the Black Lake, Andromache had choked on her apple, and Adelaide accidentally spat her orange juice onto the choking girl.]

Wanting to be able to keep constant contact with her twin—even when in their separate dormitories and common rooms—leads Andromache to start searching for a charm that can be placed on two journals to allow instant and constant communication.

Which, subsequently, leads to the blonde Granger befriending Cedric Diggory late one night in the Hufflepuff Common Room.

[The Common Room is round, like the barrel-like doorways, and earthy—the brick walls and wooden floors give the room a warm and welcoming feeling, and the small circular windows look like they'll allow the perfect amount of light in.

There are a plethora of plants decorating the room—some hang from the low-ceiling, while others sit on windowsills or on wooden circular shelves, and the rest are placed in copper-bottomed plant holders on the walls.

Some of these plants wave, sway, dance, and a few even seem to talk.

Overstuffed sofas and armchairs upholstered in black and yellow are placed throughout the room, and wooden tables surrounded by wooden chairs with black and yellow cushions are scattered among them.
