HYACINTHUS / HYACINTH
sport, play, constancy

Skating through the hallways of Hogwarts, Andromache searches for the flower crown that flew off her head when she was rushing to find her twin the previous morning. The slightest streaks of sunlight start painting the sky with hues of red and orange, and Andromache pauses her search to watch the sunrise.

The blonde Granger is an early bird like no other—she never misses a chance to watch the sun decorate the sky in colour, before peaking its head over the horizon and adding more colour to the canvas, until finally ascending completely and shedding light and warmth for the day.

[She often wonders if it has to do with the Thunderbird Effect.]

Settling outside the castle, Andromache pulls a leather wrap-around journal from her satchel, flipping to the back of it before pulling out an already-inked quill and writing the thoughts plaguing her about the previous night.

Professor Quirrell:
• stuttering DADA professor
• terrified to the point of fainting after seeing a mountain troll [suspicious]
• when his back is turned, I feel unsettled (Thunderbird Sense?)

Professor Snape:
• git Potions professor
• biased against Harry because he reminds him of people (one hated, one loved)
• had an injured leg last night (caused by Cerberus?) [also suspicious]
• minimally unsettled by him

Cerberus:
• ginormous three-headed-dog
• guards a trapdoor in the forbidden corridor
• probably not actually named Cerberus (big mistake on the namer's part - Hagrid?)

Does Snape want what Cerberus is guarding?
Does Quirrell want it?
What is it?

"Andy?"

The sudden appearance of Harry's voice doesn't startle the Hufflepuff girl like he expects it would, and she simply turns to smile warmly at him, "Good morning, Harry."

"What are you doing up so early?" the Potter boy asks as he sits beside the blonde, watching her close her journal and wrap it back up, securing it and putting it in her satchel.

"I'm almost always up early enough to watch the sunrise," Andromache responds with a grin and a light shrug, "But, I know you aren't usually an early bird—so, are you awake because you're nervous about your debut as Gryffindor's seeker?"

The bespectacled boy nods—he is, in fact, terribly nervous about his first Quidditch match taking place later that morning, and it certainly doesn't help that it's against Slytherin.
