There is no better boost in the present
than an invitation into the future."

CALLUNA / HEATHER
independence, good luck, admiration, protection, solitude

Sitting in front of the hearth in the Hufflepuff Basement after returning to the castle from detention, Andromache and Adelaide watch words appearing in the journal in the former's lap.

He's weak, and living off the unicorns. We had it wrong. Snape doesn't want the stone for himself, he wants the stone for Voldemort. With the Elixir of Life...

He will regain his strength and come back.
—ASG

"You shouldn't interrupt when someone's writing," Andromache scolds Adelaide after the brunette finishes Harry's sentence.

If He comes back, will He try to kill Harry?
—RBW

I think if Andy hadn't been with me, He'd have tried to kill me tonight.
—HJP

But why didn't He attack because of Andy?
—HJG

Firenze was about to tell us, but then you guys all arrived and he didn't get the chance to explain.
—AMG

What about Dumbledore?!
—ASG

Of course! Dumbledore is the one wizard He always feared.
As long as Dumbledore's around, Harry is safe.
—HJG

This helped make me feel better, thank you.
—HJP

Alright, now we should all get some sleep.
Sleep tight and sweet dreams.
Goodnight Gryffindors.
—AMG + ASG

You too
Goodnight Hufflepuffs

"You are aware of the reason the unicorn was spared," Professor Quirrell prompts the first-year Hufflepuff sitting across from him, "Are you not?"

Andromache stares up at the wizard unwaveringly, her voice even as she responds, "You spared the unicorn so that I felt indebted to you, so that I felt like I owed you, so that I'd do something to repay you. You want something in return for sparing it, right?"

Quirrell regards the girl, "I do—I noticed you seemed to interact easily with it, even though it was severely injured. Injured creatures are usually frightened, incredibly anxious, distrustful, and usually feel threatened by anyone or anything that approaches them because they are now vulnerable. And yet, you had no problem—which is why you will be visiting the forbidden corridor on the third-floor."
