Valeria's p.o.v:

They say love hurts, I didn't think I'll ever understood what that meant, until that one thing you love the most, is the one thing that you can't have! I mean call me dumb for not jumping in his arms and taking him back right way, but the walls around my heart won't let me. It had been two weeks since we had our meeting with both families, it was now time to know everyone's choice, I had did my best to keep focused and not lose track of what's important. Work. Of course it was work, I didn't have time to think about anything else, but that did not stop Christian from spending flowers to both my office and house, I smelled like a flower shop, my mom was over the moon, about this she would keep telling me to give him a chance, and oh I wanted to, trust me I wanted too, but not because she wanted, but because I wanted him back in my love life. I keep on saying the same thing over and over but, a girl with a confused mind is never a good thing , because we don't know, and I hate not knowing what to do, it drives me crazy, because I know what to do, I just don't want to, but I can't live my life in fear... "Valeria it's time both families are here" Araceli said coming in to my office. "Are you ready" she added. "Yes come on, its rude to keep guest waiting" I told her. "Are you sure its a good idea, to have both families in the same room, if you would've asked me that a few months ago I would've said no, but at this point we all have to grow up and deal with it, we have to act our age, I know that now" I said. "Whatever you say, sister I'll go along with you, even if I don't understand you" she said. I smiled at her, "Hello ladies, mind if I steal Araceli for a few moments" Leonardo said coming from behind us. My sister spun around and hugged him. "Your acting like you haven't seen him in forever, I'm pretty sure you spent the night with him" I teased her. Her face turned red and we all laughed, I left them and walked into the meeting room, I was alone and waiting for everyone to come in, one by one they came and sat down, the look on everyone's face was blank as they saw who were the other family I wouldn't tell them about, well this was going to be fun, I thought to myself. Araceli and Leonardo were the last to come in I smiled at them as they walked in, "Good morning ladies and gentlemen, now that were all together let's get down business, we're all here to know what your answers will be, if you have an questions feel free to stop me and ask" I said. "Why wouldn't you tell us, who your other partners would be" Matteo asked. "Well that's simple, can you honestly say, you would've yes right away, if you would've known, no you wouldn't have, that is why I gave you all this time to read and go over the deal, to see if you all wanted to without knowing who the other partner would be, but most important lets keep this professional" I said to all. "That was every smart of you" Christian said. "Why thank you, now lets get started I don't want to take to much of your time" I said. "On behave of the Messi family, I think it's a good idea, its a good deal, in the long run, it will pay off, so the three of us are in" Raymond said. "Yes like my brother said, we will be more then happy to join you" Nina said. "I don't see any problem so, why not" Leonardo said holding my sisters hand. I then turned my attention to the brothers, Matteo was the first to speak, "Strictly business you say, we shall see how long that last, but getting back to business, I say yes, what about you Christian" he asked. "Whatever she wants she gets, I say yes too" he said locking eyes with me. "Very well thank you all for joining me and my sister, this means a lot to us" Araceli said. "All right then, lets set things in motion, I'll get started on the deal right away , we shall meet in three days to sign papers, and any other agreements we my have, is everyone okay with that" I asked choosing to ignore that comments that Matteo and Christian had made, I'll deal with them later. "We should get going we have a lunch to make up" Nina said looking at her older brother. "Very well then, meeting dismissed feel free to leave when you wish" I said. The Messi's nodded there heads in agreement and said good-bye, Araceli soon left with Leonardo and by then it was only me and the two brothers. "What was that" I wanted to yell. "What ever do you mean" Matteo smirked. "Listen both of you, Matteo I know your only helping your brother but stop, right now there's nothing between both of us, I can assure you that" I said. "But that's the problem with both of you, everyone can see that you both want each other, what are fighting" he said getting mad. "Matteo stop" Christian said getting up. "Why you know I'm right" he said. "No, not here stop this now, both of you cool down, now is not the time for this, I don't want to deal with this, at this point I don't want to see you two anymore, but that's not a smart business move and right now all my focus is building my empire to make sure my company moves forward, along with everyone's else's, what so bad about that, now next time we are all in this room, keep our personal lives out of this, now leave please leave, I want to be alone. Meaning I have work to do" I said dismissing both the brothers, they both got up and left the room. As soon as they left my head started to hurt, I had a lot to deal with, why where they making to harder for me, this is why I wanted space and time, I needed to figure things on my own, but I didn't get that chance to do that, so I don't want to hurt anyone so maybe it was best if didn't get with Christian, I hoped he understand why I'm doing this, I'll set him free this time I won't keep him with me, he left me once and it killed me, I can't and never will be the sweet girl he fell in love with, I'll step back and let him move on, he'll find a girl who can love him with her whole heart. That's it I made up my mind, even though its stupid of me, I don't care, I have to watch out for me. And so I called my personal chef to cook up whatever she wanted, and to have them clean up the patio, I was having a guest come over, I needed to get this over with, I'm so sorry my love but I can't right now. So I called Christian, "Hello, is everything okay, we just left, do you need us to go back" he said right away." No, everything okay, I promise, I just need to talk to you alone, if that's okay with you" I said. "No problem, were should I meet you" he asked. "At my house" I said. "What time" he said. "Be there at eight" I said. "Okay I'll see you then bye Princess" he said. I hung up, and I wanted to cry, I had to prepare myself, for what I was about to do, I got back to work and wrote up our deal, I got everything ready for the next day and I left, but not before calling my sister and telling her not to come home, I needed the house to myself, she said okay, but not before telling me, I had to tell her everything, after I said okay. I cleaned up and left for home, I drove home and went to clean up and get ready for Christian to get here. I sat in the living room with a glass of wine in my hands, it wasn't long before my nana came in and told me a young man was waiting for me, I smiled at her and walked toward the front door to let him in. "Hi and thank you for coming" I told him while letting him in. "No thank you for inviting me" he said while handing me a dozen yellow roses, they were beautiful, I loved them, I smiled at him in thanks, but then I remembered why I brought him here. He was making this harder then it needed to be, without knowing it. I had him follow me to the patio, he held out my chair for me, his such a gentlemen, was this really what I wanted? "Christian, I called you here because I" I said before cutting me off. "I know the reason, well the real reason, you want to let me go, you want to free me and move on from you, well news flash Princess, I tried that and it didn't work, I left you thinking you'll find someone better then me, and you didn't because you still love me the same way I love you, that's why you didn't marry Raymond, you liked him yes, but never fell in love with him" he said. I was in shock, how had he figured it out, was I that much of then open book, well to him I might be, "Your right, I did call you here to officially break things off with you, to let you go and prayed that you found a girl that would love you with her whole heart, a simple girl, because I know I'll never be the sweet girl you once knew, I changed" I told him. "No, I don't care, I won't allow you to say that, because I never left you, I was always near you, you became who you needed to stay on top, your a women in the field run by men, you and your sister made a name for yourselves way before your father gave you your company, you became stronger and powerful, and guess what princess, you became a queen without a king, and I love you for that" He said, I didn't realize I was crying until he got up and wrapped his arms around me, "You really think you so" I cried in his arms. "Mi reina te amare hasta que no pueda mas" he said (my queen i will love you until I can't no more). "Christian, when you say things like that, I can't help but want to love you again" I said still crying. "Then stop fighting it, let go and let me in" he said wiping my tears and planting a sweet kiss on my lips. I then gave in and kissed him back, at this point I had gave in a let him love me, which at moment was the wrong thing to do, but I didn't care not at the moment, at the moment we were two kids madly in love, one thing lead to another and we ended up in my bedroom and you can imagine what happens next........

The next morning:

I woke up in Christian's arms, he had stayed with me the whole night, and I was over the moon! I held on to him tighter, now I didn't want to let go, no matter what the outcome was, "Valeria go back to sleep, I'm not going anywhere" he said rubbing my back . "Christian, what does this mean" I asked. "It means go back to sleep, I will still be here when you wake up, okay princess" he said. "Are you sure" I asked him smiling. "Yes, oh by the way, you can't get rid of me anymore, you can say were officially, unofficially together okay" he said kissing me. I laid my head his chest and closed my eyes and fell back to sleep. I was once again woken up to my sisters screams, I sat up and screamed when I saw her at the door to my room, Christian shot up and pulled me behind him, "What's with the yelling" he said. "Your together" she yelled. "Yes and no" Christian said. "Listen I love you with all my heart Araceli, but can you get out and wait down stairs" I said. "Okay, I'll go down, but do I tell mom and dad" she said, remembering that they were down stairs. She then locked the door as she walked out, "What are we going to do" I said hugging him from behind, "Well I'll tell you one thing lets not worry about that just yet" He said. We got out of bed and walked to the bathroom to shower, no point in being shy now.... We got dressed and walked down stairs hand in hand. "We'll if it isn't the love birds" we heard a voice say from the bottom of the stairs. "Cute so much for business only" Matteo laughed out. "Matteo watch it" Christian said letting go of my hand and hugging me to his side. "So the princess, finally turned into a queen, and figured out what she wanted" he said. My whole face turned red, I turned around in Christian arms and hide my face in his chest, he laughed and kissed the top of my head. "Aww you to are the cutest" Araceli said. "I thought you said, your parents, were here" Christian asked her. "Yes they were, but they left once they figured out that Christian had spent the night, they put two in two together and left right away" she said. "Don't tell me your having second thoughts about being with my brother" Matteo said. "No, of course not, but like Christian said earlier we're officially, unofficially together, we're going to keep it a secret for now, which means in the eyes of the public were just business partners, nothing else, and before you start no, I'm not ashamed of being with your brother, but for now its best if keep it hidden" I said, "Are you okay with that Christian" I added. "Yes, I'll respect your wishes" He said. "Now come on we got companies to run" Araceli said, we all laughed and went to our respected cars and drove off...

Alexandra's p.o.v:

We were going to have lunch again, but this time with Nina and Antonio, they had left to a meeting, but not before telling me that they would be back in time for lunch, I had to act like I was over it, in front of Raymond, just so that a argument didn't break out, I couldn't risk it, and plus I couldn't stress myself out, he maybe knew something was wrong, because I slept hugging a pillow and not him, I was on in the bathroom, waiting for Raymond to leave, I know that's bad but can you blame me! At this point I wanted to throw the pregnancy's test at him! So much for making things special! "Alexandra can you come out" He called out. "I thought you left already" I called out, slowly opening the door. "No I wanted to see you before I go" He said coming close to me. I stepped back, "Have a nice day at work, I'll see you when you come back" I told him. "Love, is everything okay" He asked. Oh great now I want to cry, "Sure yes everything is okay, nothing to worry about" I quickly said, letting out a nervous laugh. "Alexandra you can talk to me, tell me if your upset, are you still mad about what happened the day I stood you up" he asked. "NO!(yes), its okay I understand, work comes first" I said. "It's fine, if you don't want to tell me, I'll respect your wishes" He said sounding upset. NO, NO HE CAN'T BE THE ONE UPSET! So I grabbed his hand and kissed him, "Yes my love I was upset, you shocked me so I dropped my cake, by the way I really wanted it, so now your going to make it up to me and go buy me one okay, you want to know why I'm so emotional, fine I'll tell you, mother nature stopped by, and she'd being a pain, so I'm sorry if I'm acting weird" I said playing with collar of his button up shirt. "I'm sorry" he said placing his hands on my hips. "I love you, and I know you wouldn't do anything to hurt me" I said. "Yes your right, but I'm also sorry your period came, I really wished it hadn't come, maybe then you would've told me your pregnant" He said smiling at me. I was in shock, so it was something he wanted! "But we have all the time in the world, I love you, I'll see you at lunch time" he said kissing me one more time before leaving our room. I couldn't be happier, I pressed my hands to my stomach, if only you knew that, the fruit of our love, was already growing inside of me, if I wasn't already in love with Raymond, then this would have done it for me, his such a sweetheart and I'm glad to call him mine. I now had to come up with a new plan!
