Chapter 42

Alexandra's p.o.v:

Nina and I let out a scream in shock, before the whole house turns into a mad house, Raymond parents run up, followed by Leonardo and Nina's man, they laid Raymond next to me and called doctor Leslie, once she got here, she laughed once I told her why he passed out. "It's not funny" I whispered crying. "Oh dear child, don't cry, it's okay, I'm sure he was just in shock, I'm he'll be over the moon once he wakes up" she said. She then, got a cotton ball, dipped it in alcohol and waved it back and forth under Raymond's nose to wake him up, he then let out a groan and slowly opened his eyes. "Hi" I whispered. "I had a dream, in which you had said, that we were going to be parents and how you were scared to tell me and I over heard and then I passed out in shock" he said reaching for my hand. "That was no dream" I whispered. "What are you saying" he said. "Let's start off by saying, I've been trying to tell you this for a long time, and every time I try something, comes up and I never get the chance, but yes Raymond, I'm pregnant!! I have a little Messi growing inside of me and also because of you, I have to be on bed rest for the next month" I said. "Why what's wrong with our child" He said. "Nothings wrong everything okay, baby and Alexandra are okay, it's just that she felt a sharp pain and I needed her to come in and be sure, but just like I told her, no stress, no heavy lifting, I mean it, she's stilt early in her pregnancy's and can lose the baby if your not being careful. "Did that happen, after we got into a argument and you locked yourself away from me" he said. "Yes I needed to calm myself down, and not get so worked up, but we can't put all the blame on you, it's my fault to, I mean I didn't tell you right away, you couldn't have known" I said. "Okay well the important thing he knows and that Raymond knows that your pregnant" said Nina. "Now everyone out, lets let the happy couple, enjoin the happy news" Nina added pushing everyone of our room. Raymond then laid back down with me and held me close, "I'm sorry for stressing you" he whispered. "I'm sorry for not telling you sooner, I was afraid that this wasn't what you wanted" I said. "Well we haven't really had the chance to spend time with each other, so I understand" he said. "So is this something you want" I asked in a small voice. "What is" He asked. "Us...me having a baby... a child" I said. "Yes Alexandra, how can I not be, I love you" he said. "And I do to, to think they'll be three of us now, I couldn't be happier" I told him smiling. "I know, but we must take care of you right now and make sure you and our baby stay healthy" he said kissing me.

TIME SKIP TWO WEEKS LATER:

"Alexandra Messi come back" my husband yelled from upstairs. I rolled my eyes and smirked, "No you'll make me go back up stairs and lay me back on that bed, at least down here, I have company" I said. "My love you need to stay in bed" he said coming down stairs. "I am in bed" I said. "Amor(Love) come on you can't be moving, and just because you added more pillows and blankets to the sofa, doesn't make it a bed" He said coming into the living room. "I didn't your brother carried me down stairs, so that doesn't count" I said smiling. "Alexandra don't make this harder then it needs to be, come back upstairs you'll have more room" he said coming and standing to stand next to me. "No I don't want to! I'm alone up there and I get bored, at least down here, the maids keep me company and talk to me, and I'm tired of reading pregnancy books, if you get me one more I'm going to throw it at you" I threatened him. "Alexandra come on, stop being like this" he said. "No, I have every right to be like this, you did this to me" I said. "Listen it takes two to tango" he laughed. "Oh yeah laugh it off" I said rolling my eyes. "If your done acting like a child, I'll take you back up stairs were you can rest properly" he said. "No, I mean it Raymond, go to work, and leave me all alone" I said trying to push him away. "Is this that why, your so upset, because I leaving for work" he said. "NO, I really don't care, now go I mean it, I don't want who it is your working to mad at you" I said. "Alexandra" he said rubbing his temples. "Listen, no one wants to upset you, and if I'm giving you a headache, then leave" I said getting upset. I know, it's mostly my fault for arguing with him, but these past two weeks, his been clingy, I love the boy, I really do but he hasn't left me alone, he started to work from home to be able to take care of me, he hasn't left my side for a minute, at first it was cute, but now its not. "Raymond you know, that I love you, with all my heart, and I say this in the nicest way possible, go away, go to work, I'll be okay, I took his hand and pressed it against my baby bump, we'll be okay, and if it makes you feel better, you can call us every hour until you come home" I said. He smiled at me, and kissed me, he then hugged me and gave me another sweet kiss. "I love you" I whispered. "Be careful okay, if you need anything, ask okay, and don't get up unless, you have too okay, I love you amor (love)" he said getting up and leaving the house. I let out a breath in peace, I was happy to be alone, he was being overprotective. "Hey sweetie" Raymond's mom said coming in the room. "Hi, I'm glad your here, your son's driving me crazy" I told while she sat in the chair next to me. "Is he being clingy" she asked laughing. "Yes, he is I love the boy, I really do but for the last two weeks; he hasn't left my side" I told her. "Oh sweetie you should've seen your father in law, he was the same way when I was pregnant with Raymond, with Leonardo he drove himself crazy, with Nina, he would've carried me everywhere if I let him, if he keeps it up talk to him, tell him to back off" she said patting my hand. " I don't want to do that, I know this is our first child and I don't want to take any memories away from him" I said getting emotional. "Oh sweetie, its okay don't get upset your not, I promise he'll understand" she said. "I'm a bad person, who wants her husband to stay away" I cried. "Oh Alexandra, do you want me to call Raymond" she said. That just made me cry, even more, so she called her son. "Hello mother how can I help you" he said. Hearing his voice made me cry louder. "Mother what's going on with Alexandra" he said worried. "Listen boy, calm your wife down, since your the reason she's like this" she said. "Alexandra, I knew I shouldn't have left you" He said. "No, it's okay, I'm just overacting" I said. "No your not, it must be, something if your crying over it" He said. "I-I 'm sorry, I don't know why I'm like this, your child has me all emotional and I don't know how to react" I cried. "Alexandra tell why crying" He asked. "Your going to think I'm dumb or something, but I crying, because I told, your mother that you've been clingy, and how I don't have the heart to tell you to get lost, because I don't want you to miss anything, since it's our first child" I cried. "Oh baby, calm down, it's okay to tell me to get lost, I understand I promise; I'll always be near by, when you want me, okay I love you" He said. "Why do you have to be so sweet, I don't deserve you" I cried. "Alexandra don't say that, yes you do, I love you, I'll be home in a few hours okay, no more crying" He said. "I love you, too and so does our baby" I said finally stopped crying. "I love you, my love; mom take care of her please, and don't let her cry all day, she also needs to take her pills, but not with out a banana, if not she throws up" He said. "Honey I had three kids I'm pretty sure I know what to do" she said. "You see everything okay sweetie" she said smiling at me and hanging up the phone. "I know, I just can't control my emotions right now" I told her. "It's normal trust me it gets worse" she teased. "Does it really, what if I run him away and he leaves me, what if he finds someone better" I cried. "Listen to mama, that boy is in love with you, and if he really loves you like he said, he does, then you have that boy wrapped around your little finger, make him not want to go anywhere" she said wiping away my tears. "Thank you" I said to her. "Why don't you take your pills and get some rest, after that we'll see how you feel" she said getting up and going to get my pills and fruit. After taking them, I thanked her and laid back and quickly fell asleep
