Chapter 13:
Oliver's POV: I stood anxiously outside the bathroom door. "How's it going babe???" I practically screamed. I heard a shriek from the other side of the door and almost broke the door down trying to instantly get in. She stood there holding the stick. I ripped it from her hands and was instantly relieved to see the little single straight line on the screen. Who knew that a little single straight line could make me so happy. "We did it! I mean we didn't do it!" I said, exhaling. "Wooo!" She yelled, then sternly turned to me. "You, young man," she pointed a finger at me, "need to go buy some freaking condoms." I nodded my head. "Yes ma'am." "What do you think they would have done, though?" She asks, obviously talking about our parents. "I don't know. It's pretty sad. I've always wanted to have kids and if I have them, I want you to be the one to have them with me..." I trail off, making the subject far more upsetting then it was meant to be. "Honey, don't make me cry. Today needs to be a happy day." She says and walks past me, out of the bathroom. I followed her to the family room. I watched her as she picked her iPhone, clicked a few times, and put it up to her ear. "HAY!!!.....I know, I'm really sorry. A lot is happening. Come over. Now. I have a lot to tell you. A shit load......yeah. See you. Love you, bye." She hung up and I immediately started asking questions. "Who was that??? You love them?! Are you cheating on me?! They're coming over!? Who!? What's going on?!" I questioned. "Calm down nerd face, it's my best friend." Oh. I am a nerd face. "Wait, is it Jessa?" I ask again. "Yes-" "OH YAY I LOVE JESSA" I rejoice. "Calm down there white boy geez you would think you're dating her." She says, annoyed but amused. "Okey sowwey." I say as I sit down next to Julie.
